Declaration by the Design/ Supervising Engineer

……………………………………………………in respect to the proposed
development under Planning Reference; DC/CERT/MW…………… hereby
certify that the structural designs and calculations for the above project have
been designed in accordance with the relevant codes of practices and British
Standards specified in the Town & Country Planning Act, and that I/We,

i. t ak e the responsibility of ensuring that all design requirements are

implemented during construction; and

ii. submit to Planning Authority required structural checks including other

relevant documents as proof for my/our supervision of the aforementioned
development

ii. upon completion of the development send to the Authority a signed

certificate to certify the structural stability

iii. shall respect deadlines requested by Planning Authority to submit

amendments or additional documents when required in the prompt
processing of structural details.

IMPORTANT

ORIGINAL ENGINEER’S CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED (PHOTOCOPY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)

ii. I/we herein confirm that I/we will ensure that my/our chosen building
contractor/builder liaises with the Engineer and establish a link between the two
parties.
iii. I/we herein confirm that I/we will inform Planning Authority in writing of
change of Licensed Design or/and Supervising Engineer.
