1.0 General
1.1 This Method Statement describes the technical requirements, activities, methods
and required site management to be executed in carrying out for the installation of
instrument air supply piping that is located at JG Summit Stage 1 Expansion Project
that is located in Barangay Simlong, Batangas City, Philippines.

1.2 Definitions
“Project” shall mean “Naphtha Cracker Expansion & Second Stage
Pygas Hydrogenation Unit for the JG Summit Stage 1
Expansion Project”
“Owner” JG Summit Olefins Corporation
“PMC” Fluor Corporation and JG Summit Olefins Corporation
“Contractor” Ventanas Philippines Construction Inc.
“Subcontractor” To be updated
“Licensor” CB&I Lummus

2.2 This Document is applicable to all personnel involved in installation of instrument air
supply piping system that is located at JG Summit Stage 1 Expansion Project that is
located in Barangay Simlong, Batangas City, Philippines.

6.3 Inspection

7.0 Job Hazardous Analysis

This section defines the potential job safety hazards arising from the general works
and the hazards during and until the completion.
Job Hazard Analysis and the corresponding mitigation measures are tabulated and
expounded in the herein enclosed.

7.1 HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT


7.1.1 SUBCONTRACTOR’s delegated Safety Officer and/or Safety Supervisor shall be on
Site at all times and responsible for the safely coordination with CONTRACTOR
regarding the requirement needed to execute the work.
7.1.2 Delegated SUBCONTRACTOR’s Safety Officer and/or Safety Supervisor will enforce
minimum safety requirements such as PPE for workers, identify Hot and Cold Work
Permits if needed and to arrange and coordinate with the SUBCONTRACTOR’s Field
Supervisor or Site Engineers regarding safety concerns to prevent accidents.
7.1.3 SUBCONTRACTOR’s Safety Officer and/or SUBCONTRACTOR’s Field Supervisor
/Site Engineers will also be responsible during and after work hours in all Work place
at site to be able to prevent any incident due to obstructions and other protruding
objects.
7.1.4 Nurse and first aiders shall be available at all times during the progress of
construction. They shall ensure that first aid kits shall be readily available at all times
within the working area.

7.2 SAFETY PROCEDURE FOR RELOCATION WORK


7.2.1 The Relocation work shall be undertaken in accordance with site safety rules,
regulations and approved procedure
7.2.2 Wherever necessary, work permits will be obtained prior to any work being carried

out and work will commences in accordance with specific measures as indicated in
work permit
7.2.3 All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and to be worn
in accordance with the site safety requirements
7.2.4 Site working area will be kept in clean and tidy manner after any work activities have
been carried out
7.2.5 Morning Tool Box Meeting (TBM) shall be held daily at site detailing potential hazards
associated with the work, and implement necessary action, thereby minimizing or
eliminate hazard exposure to workers
7.2.6 Barricade protection unauthorized person access to Relocation area
