What does physical

therapy require?
To become a therapist there are a lot of ways to
reach that. Physical therapist must have patience,
compassion, empathy, and have physical strength
to ensure patient confidence and trust. A physical
therapist requires college credit. Some people put
a lot of work to become a therapist. The work of
physical therapists touches people from all walks
of life at any age. They may work with someone
in an assisted living facility that was just released
from the hospital after breaking a hip, or a professional athlete who suffered a torn ligament at his
last big game. The benefit to physical therapy is to alleviate the pain and help recover from. Another
benefit of physical therapy is that it can help manage arthritis and osteoporosis. Physical therapists
are able to identify, diagnose and treat movement related issues. physical therapy techniques and
therapeutic exercises can help mobilize your joints and soft tissue and restore muscle function,
reducing aches or eliminating pain altogether.Often, after a serious injury or a big surgery, it can be
hard for patients to get back on their feet. Mobility can be restricted, and simple activities like
writing, eating, or balancing the body can prove to be a challenge. This is when physical therapy
comes in handy. Therapeutic exercises can restore mobility, make walking and moving around safer,
and can even improve coordination and balance in patients who are at high risk for falls.physical
therapy is not merely an alternative course of treatment; it offers varied benefits for people from all
walks of life, right from athletes and sportspersons to people suffering from a range of health issues.
The benefits of physical therapy for athletes is something we're going to dive into in another blog
post if you are curious.

DOESN’T JUST HAPPEN ON HUMANS

Physical therapy doesn’t just happen in humans it happens to animals
too. They recover from an injury and they get better. Only thing different
about human therapy and animal therapy they can’t do anything. Vets do.
They help treat the injury or surgery and get them back on their feet. Dr.
Marty Becker, veterinarian and author tells of a golden retriever named
Dakota, who was able to warn his master, Mike Lingenfelter, that a heart
attack was imminent and alert Mr. Lingenfelter to the need to leave a stressful situation and take
preventive medication. In recent decades, there have been countless such stories of animals helping to
improve and even preserve the lives of children and adults with all manner of diseases and disabilities.
