Lords Mobile game - Familars – Tips for beginners

First of all, familiars is an important aspect of the game, especially for F2P (free to play) players. It
takes a long time to build a great F2P account in Lords Mobile but as for familiars I would suggest
starting on them as soon as possible as it will help you a lot in many aspects of the game.

Unlocking familiar buildings

To unlock the familiar buildings you need to complete Skirmish 8. In case you are not already
aware of it, you do not need to complete the skirmishes in one try. Because of that you can finish
Skirmish 8 at a low level with only tier 2 troops. Just attack, heal your troops and attack again. The
progress will be saved each time so just keep repteating until you've won.

What to build?
I would suggest that you build 2 gyms, 2 mystic spires and 4 springs to begin with. Once you
progress further in the game you will only need 1 mystic spire but for a long time it is good to have
2 of them. The mystic spires decide how many pacts you can merge at a time so once your mystic
spire reaches level 25 you won't need a second one anymore. At that point I would suggest you
demolish one of your mystic spires and build a fifth spring instead since the springs help you merge
pacts faster.

Which pacts to start with? – Pact 1

You can review all of the pacts in the mystic spire by clicking on the building and then clicking on
”pacts”. You can click on each of the types to the left (1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3 and 4) and then click on
the magnifying glass to look at the familiars available in each pact. To begin with you can only
merge pacts from either 1A or 1B. You will need to do research to unlock pacts 2, 3 and 4 and you
should start working on the researches up until pact 3 as soon as possible. I would suggest you start
out with pact 1B and keep merging pacts from 1B until you have enough to upgrade Aquiris to adult
stage. Once you get Aquiris you can start leveling him up in the gym. He heeds to be level 20 to
upgrade to adult stage. The reason why I suggest Aquiris is because he gives extra stamina. That
way you can get your heroes up to gold grade and rank 8 much faster. At adult stage you can level
Aquiris up to level 50 and then upgrade the ”Refreshed” skill to level 8 using fragments. At level 8
you will get 55-90 STA for every 14 hours and 30 minutes.

Pact 2
When you start working on Pact 2 I would suggest that you work on pact 2B first. There are two
very nice familiars in this pact. The first one is Harpy. She gives you extra space in your infirmaries
and the best thing about her is that she gives you extra VIP points for free. At level 60 you will get 3
VIP point items every day. Each of these will be 100 points, 500 points, 1000 points or 5000 points.
The 100 points are most common but I have gotten 5000 VIP points several times already. The other
familiar I like in pact 2B is Krabby. I mostly like his ”Rocky Resolve” skill because it helps you
level up your player level faster. You can get +8% player EXP at skill level 9 which requires your
Krabby to be level 55 elder stage. There is no need to level it up any further since you won't need it
anymore once you reach player level 60.

Pact 3
As soon as you are done with your research for Pact 3, even though you won't be done with pacts
1B and 2B yet, you should start merging Pact 3 pacts. The great thing about Pact 3 and Pact 4 is that
there are no A and B versions. All available familiars are in one pact. Most of the Pact 3 familiars
are great so you should level them up eventually but to begin with there are two familiars you
should focus on: Trickstar and Gemming Gremlin. Each of them have skills that give you free holy
stars (which you can use to get great items in the Labyrinth) and free gems, similar to the VIP points
you get for free from Harpy. To get these free gems and free holy stars you will need your familiars
to reach the Elder stage though. First you have to get enough runes and level them up to level 20 to
enhance them to Adult stage. Once that is done you should start working on both of them in the gym
to level them up to level 50 since they need to be level 50 to reach Elder stage. You will need
another 120 runes for each of these two familiars to enhance them from Adult to Elder stage. This
takes a long time so that is why I recommend that you start working on Pact 3 as soon as possible.

Pact 4
There are several great familiars in Pact 4 but it takes a very long time to finish the research for Pact
4 and I would suggest that you focus on other research trees first after getting to Pact 3 in your
familiar research tree. I would suggest that you then focus on your Economy research and Military
research since you will need to finish both of these research trees (except gem harvesting in the
economy tree) to unlock tier 4 troops.
