Founded in 1995, PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) is part of


Prudential plc, a group of leading financial services companies in the UK. As part of the
Group with more than 168 years of experience in the life insurance industry, Prudential
Indonesia is committed to developing its business in Indonesia.
Since the launch of insurance products related to investment (unit link) first in 1999,
Prudential Indonesia has become the market leader for this product category in Indonesia.
Prudential Indonesia provides a variety of products and services that are designed to meet
and complete every financial need of its customers in Indonesia. Prudential Indonesia has
also established a Sharia business unit since 2007 and is believed to be the market leader
in sharia life insurance in Indonesia since its establishment.
As of December 31, 2017, Prudential Indonesia has head office in Jakarta and
marketing offices in Medan, Surabaya, Bandung, Denpasar, Batam and Semarang.

licensed marketers in 408 Mandiri Marketing Offices (KPM) across the archipelago

after the calculation and analysis above it is known that the most influential opportunity
factor for Prudential life Indonesia is the population, and expensive medical expense. The total of
opportunities after the calculation is 1.72. While on the threat indicator of the factors that have the
most influence on Prudential life Indonesia in Bali province is the number of competitors in the
insurance industry.

The total of weighted score are 3,02 that mean the value is above the average weighted
score which is 2.5 this mean this company is responding in an amazing way to existing
opportunities and threat in its industry. The strategy of the PT. Prudential Life Assurance is already
great because it can achieve effective and efficient.
