The 7 Sacraments
Sacraments are sources of strength, encouragement, and peace in relationships and they are

3. Identify and explain the Rituals of each sacrament (these are the words and gestures)
a. Identify and explain the signs (example: laying on of the hands is a sign of what?)
b. Identify and explain the symbols (example: bread and wine symbolize what?)
4. Explain how each sacrament connects to Jesus’ ministry
a. Use specific passages from the Bible to support these connections
5. Describe the effects of each sacrament

of God’s love and care in our lives.
