INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

The researcher for this subject matter are interested to conduct and
perform the study about the ”CCTV MONITORING AT BARANGAY SAN
ISIDRO CAINTA, RIZAL”for the academic purposes or in the near future
as a police enforcer in making.

This study concerned about the CCTV MONITORING on how

they been operate with regards for to detect and to protect people to the
Community and also to Prevent the Crime by monitoring CCTV 24/7.It
shows that surveillance cameras place it on public places,establishment
inshort it is the eye of the community to monitor and controlling a bank of
screens.The CCTV Operator are responsibility to operate and to control the
monitor for the Safety and the Protection to maintain the peace and order
of the community.Thus the CCTV as the eye of community and also as the
first respondent and it will occur time to time to report in law enforcer by
preventing to execute the forbidden law conduct in a community.

They have been installed CCTV in every streets in

Cainta,Rizal.These are for to notice the public before doing a infringement
of law because of the identity of the person and the awareness of the
public.These helpful of CCTV are solved 8 out 10 crimes in barangay San
Isidro Cainta,Rizal such as the most number of incident was car
incident,disobey of important thing,theft,robbery and drug related happen.

An obiquitous crimes happens no one will know criminals attack anytime

with their highly sophisticated firearms in Metro Manila. By helping the
newly discovered devices it is easy to detect and prevent crimes it can also
provide evidence to relevant law enforcement agencies,to maintain public
order and also to prevent anti social behaviour and nuisance.To affright
criminals to do a transgression with the law avoiding ignorance for their
accomplishment.CCTV may helpful in very different way to solve the case
large variation were identified in relation to crime type and to extent
cameras were viewed as useful cameras were deemed useful in car
incident investigations .Having useful of CCTV cameras was associated
significantly decreased crimes rates for all types of crime especially for car
incident,drug related crimes,.

CCTV or Close Circuit Television also known as video surveillance to

transmit signal to a specific place and also a set of monitors.

CCTV applied for those used of surveillance in areas in need of monitoring

such as banks,stores,and other areas where security is badly
needed.There are two types of CCTV one is 1)Analog a modern system of
its cameras send their traditional baseband format over coax or UTP while
other one is 2) Digital is the new technology that launched early this year
and it is also higly recommended for the person who wants to buy .IP
stands for Internet Protocol,and basically refers to a digital video camera
that can send and receive data via a computer network,as opposed to
sending a feed to Digital Video Recorder (DVR).The difference of the two
types of CCTV is the method by which video is is recorded and
delivered.Analog cameras record images and then send signal over a
coaxial cable to a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) it is convert a the video
from analog to digital signals,compresses the file and it stores it on a hard
drive.The better option in this two security cameras as we observe we must
choose for the Digital Video Camera as for those advantages in the public
security for the image quality is significantly higher than analog with many
cameras high definition video. Plus,the digital zoom features,which can
have zoom over 100ft.In coverage area a singledigital camera can cover an
area that would require three or even four of its analog counterparts.As the
result it may require fewes cameras may be able to require to be able
maintain security surveillance over a wider area.

CCTV Cameras for security act of 2012 file during Miriam Santiago
Defensor on December 3,2012 An act requiring business establishment
installed Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in their place or a
business to deter a crime. The Philippine National Police(PNP)
acknowledges the usefulness of CCTV cameras in the premises of
commercial eshtablishment to deter crime and assist them in their crime
investigation. According to PNP, their efficiency rating in solving crimes has
improved with the use of CCTV cameras.

The case of model Julie Ann Rodelas,whose found body last August
6,2012 shows how cctv cameras are helpful to solved the crimes and
identified the perpetrators.Footage from a CCTV camera installed inside
the fast food chain restaurant where the victim reportedly bought food
before she was killed was the use of police to find the perpetrators.

According to Quezon city local government recently passed an ordinance

requiring business establishment to install CCTV cameras within their
premises before can they secure business permits starting on January
2013 .The ordinance was reportedly met with support and approval from
business owner and the genral public,who recognize the usefulness of
CCTV cameras is increasing the safety and security for the public.

The Researcher utilized a survey questionnaire to gather a data information of the

present reseach study.

.The Part I is the demographic profile of the respondents.This part shows the
information about their name,age,gender,civil status,and educational attainment of the
respondents.

The second part of the questionnaire distributed about CCTV Monitoring at Barangay
San Isidro Cainta,Rizal.

In addition,in this regard was occupied by the researchers while the respondents
answers the given questionnaire.

The reserachers observed whether the respondents were interested on this topicof the
study or not,and eventhough they answered faithful.

Review of the Related Literature and Studies

This chapter accommodate the review of related literatures and

studies of a local and foreign literature, local and foreign studies about the
relevant of these subject matter also it contains the conceptual/theoretical
framework, paradigm of the research and the connection of the studies
literature up to the present studies.

“CCTV Secuirty Camera-Do they help fight crime” where stated that

“The UK more CCTV camera coverage than any other country.

A recent study examined the effectiveness of UK security cameras

as it pertains to crime prevention. It was also state that CCTV video is

often used in police investigations and the writer believes that most

people are convince of the effectiveness of the video surveillance

and may even feel a certain amount of comfort and knowing that it

adds to their chances of being a victim of crime are reduse when

they find themselves in and area monitored with CCTV cameras.
