let me explain this briefly

IPMP has 2 type of configuration : Probe-based , Link-based

here they are using probe-based .. which consist of 2 Phys interfaces .. one as active and 2nd is standby

needs 3 public IP addresses .. 1st is the node IP , 2nd is test IP for interface 0 , 3rd is test IP for interface 1

then you set the IPMP as the files .. active IP --> IP-address netmask + broadcast + group ipmp0 up

then to set the test IP on same interface --> addif kw-db1-pr-bge0 deprecated -failover netmask +
broadcast + up

deprecated --> means ignore using it .. -failover means don't failover to this IP ..

this define that this logical interface is just for probe-based testing

and other interface is standby but UP .. so once failure occurred on physical int0 .. so will failover the main
IP to this 2nd interface
