WORK PLAN
III. RATIONALE
DepEd Order no. 35, s. 2016, reiterates the necessity of the Learning
Action Cell as a school-based continuing professional development
strategy for the improvement of teaching and learning. Hence, there is a
need to set up an exclusive area where the teachers could have their LAC
session regularly and comfortably.
Aside from the table and mono block chairs, the enclosed LAC session
area will have also a cabinet for the hand-outs, reference materials and
other learning resources which are readily available for the teachers during
their learning sessions. An air condition unit will also be installed for a
more conducive learning environment for the teachers.

Improving and making the LAC session area conducive, beneficial and
comfortable will contribute to quality learning on the part of the teachers
which will ultimately redound to quality teaching for the students.

The target time is supposed to be within the first semester so that the
teachers could start using the area by the second semester.
The target clientele who would benefit from the project would be the forty
three (43) teachers of the school and the ultimate beneficiaries would be
the one thousand three hundred eighty students of these teachers.

The LAC session area will also serve as a resource area where
teachers could be assisted in down loading instructional materials from the
web to aid their instruction. Thus, making learning for their students more
interesting, up to date and relevant to the demands of the global society.
