LESSON PLAN

Year : 2 Amanah (25 pupils, 5 LINUS pupils)


Subject : English
Time : 10.10 a.m. - 11.10 a.m.
(10.40 a.m – 11.10 a.m (Administrating LINUS screening)
Theme : World of Knowledge
Content Standard : 1.1.3 Able to listen to, say aloud and recite rhymes or sing songs with
guidance.
1.2.1 Able to participate in daily conversations :
(a) exchange greetings
1.3.1 Able to listen to and demonstrate understanding of oral texts by:
(b) answering simple Wh-Questions

Lesson Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to;
1. Tick the correct pictures based on the dialogue heard. (MS)
2. Tick the correct scenery of greetings. (LINUS)
Teaching aids : LCD and Notebook, pictures (morning, afternoon, evening, night) – stick
pictures, questions list.
CCE : Interpersonal, intrapersonal
Activities
1. Introducing topic using a greetings song.

2. Pupils sing the song and stress on the greeting words. (MS)
3. Pupils sing the song together, while singing pupils raise up stick pictures
of greetings. (LINUS)
4. Pupils say out greetings based on questions asked by the teacher. (MS)
a) When someone want to go to bed?
b) When someone wake up from bed?
c) When someone is enjoying cycling in the park?
d) When someone is having his lunch?
5. Pupils say out greeting based on stick pictures showed by the teacher.
(LINUS)
6. Pupils tick the correct scenery based on dialogues read by the
teacher.(MS)
7. Pupils tick the correct scenery based on pictures and dialogues read by
teacher.(LINUS)
8. *Teacher administrates LINUS screening (Reading@Writing).
9. Sing the greeting songs.
Impact :
o 24 out of 20 Mainstream pupils able to tick the scenery correctly. 1 pupil is being asked to
say out the greeting based on the pictures shown.
o All 5 LINUS pupils are able to tick all the scenery correctly.
