ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS AND SYSTEMS FOR
INDUSTRIAL AND SIMILAR APPLICATIONS
SCAME’s aim in creating the products described in this section
is to offer a wide range of components and systems for
electrical installations that provide power distribution for
industrial purposes, including agriculture, building sites,
camping sites and shipyards, to mention a few. These
products assure top versatility, reliability and safety both
when used for routine jobs and in exceptional or very
demanding working conditions.
SCAME’s product lines presented in this section for the
applications mentioned above include:
- Modular-unit systems
comprising the integrated Systems DOMINO, ADVANCE and
OMNIA.
Using the first two, electrical distribution systems can be
built up either by combining the basic components or with
combination units comprising distribution assemblies and
control units. OMNIA is designed for building up small
distribution systems with interlocked sockets, to be flush-
mounted or surface-mounted.
The large number of possible combinations means these
systems are highly flexible. They can therefore meet the
most diverse installation requirements for terminal
electrical distribution systems.
- Components for electrical systems
mainly intended for use in the manufacturing and service
industries and on building sites. SCAME’s range of products
comprises different series of IEC 60309 industrial plugs and
sockets, rotary and emergency switches and light fittings.
These products, manufactured incorporating modern
production systems, have met with considerable success at
home and abroad as a result of their quality, reliability and
large number of possible installation options.

OVERVIEW OF SCAME MODULAR COMPONENTS
INTEGRATED SYSTEMS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
Scame produces three integrated systems for assembling weatherproof electrical distribution and connection installations:
- the DOMINO System a modular system of enclosures for distribution assemblies and consumer units
- the ADVANCE 2 System a modular system for combination units
- the OMNIA System a modular flush and surface mounting system
The three SCAME systems have been designed
