3. Note 2103871 Recommendations:

a. Started Report - RS_BW_PRE_MIGRATION (Refer Note 1690674 & 888210). Ensure there are no 4-digit partitions on tables. If there are, contact Peter to take care of them. Large F tables can be
converted to E fact tables as well.
b. Point 6: Check for orphaned or empty partitions in F fact tables of the InfoCubes identified by report RS_BW_PRE_MIGRATION in preceding step 5. If possible and also permitted by the respective
business operation, run report SAP_DROP_EMPTY_FPARTITIONS. Refer to SAP Note 1974523 - SYB: Adaption of SAP_DROP_EMPTY_FPARTITIONS for SAP ASE for details

Table split before export -

Updated R3ta, R3ldctl, R3load and dbmsss lib files before starting table split.
Ensure no /BI0 tables are mentioned in table_split.txt file.
As per SAP Note 2245104 - Ignore hint files in R3ta : “Apply the latest R3ta patch for Microsoft SQL Server to ignore hint files.”
R3ta.exe is already updated, renamed R3ta_hints.txt file to *.bak in Kernel directory.
Table Split finished successfully -

WHR files are created at given path along with whr.txt –

Found SAP Note 2245104 - Ignore hint files in R3ta : For MS SQL, R3ta_hints.txt file is not used. So, renamed it to *.bak in Kernel directory.
NOTE – TABLES ARE NOT RECOMMENDED TO BE SPLIT IN SYBASE, DON’T DO ABOVE STEPS.
4. Export of S02 –
Note: Do not use table split feature as it gave locking issue during import.
