FAILURE CODE MEANING COMMENTS

F0 CANCEL / OFF Key input failure * Replace control

Over temperature inside oven * Welded relay contacts * High Resistance in oven sensor leads / connectors

To Open Cooktop – Latch needs to be released with a putty
knife

FAD
•Fan Apparency device

•The FAD is a low voltage thermal switch

•The FAD is connected on the ERC 5 wires

connector on terminal 2 (Blue wire)

•The FAD is active during all operations

• The FAD is on the lock switch circuit

•The FAD is mounted on the air duct below the

cooktop. Opens at 295°f +/- 7°f and closes
when temperature cool below 255 +/-11°f

•If the thermal switch opens during Bake mode,

temperature below 600°f. Program is cancelled
LOCK MOTOR will run and word “LOCKED”
and “DOOR” will be flashing in display.

•ERC control will go to an F9 failure

•Oven on Self Clean and surface of air duct

temperature rise above 295°f control will go to
F9 failure

•The color dot on the FAD indicates thermal

operating range
