Communication of Safety Rules

Ensure safety rules are communicated to all. Communication of safety rules is accomplished by:

• Discussion during New Hire Orientation

• Sticking of posters
• Posting throughout at the facility
• Training
• On-the-spot corrections and reinforcement by supervisors

Site Regulation And Safety Rules

1. Keep the emergency contact list ready/handy, so whenever required can be assessed.

2. All concerned must know how to operate the security system.

3. All concerned must Know handling emergency situations including fire situation.

4. Avoid site access for strangers.

5. All must wear PPE & ensure that all others/workers must wear appropriate PPE.

6. Ensure that workers must perform all work following safe work practices and safe job
procedures.

7. No fighting is permitted at the workplace.

8. Firearms, weapons, or explosives are not permitted at site.

8. No theft or vandalism will be tolerated at the workplace.

7. Report all incident/accident/near miss/injuries/illness immediately & record in register.

8. Operate vehicles in a safe manner and obey site driving rules. Commercial/Heavy vehicles
must be driven by authorized/trained persons only. Follow all government regulations regarding
traffic management.

9. Report all Unsafe Acts or Unsafe Conditions(including tools, equipment or hazardous

conditions) to your Supervisor.

10. Be sure you know how to perform the job and perform it safely. Never conduct work, unless
trained.

Only authorized and trained Employees may repair or adjust machinery and equipment.
Only qualified and trained Employees may work on or near Exposed Energized Electrical Parts
or Electrical Equipment. Follow Electrical Safety Rules when working with electrically powered
machinery and equipment.
Only authorized and trained Employees may dispense or use chemicals. It is your responsibility
to know where SDS's (Safety Data Sheets) are located and that they are available for your use
and review.

11. Use, possession, sale or being under the influence of illegal drugs, misuse of prescription
drugs and/or alcohol is not permitted on Company Property or while "on duty".
12. Smoking is permitted only in the designated "Smoking Areas".

12. Be sure you know its hazards and how to protect yourself. If you aren’t sure or have
questions, ask your supervisor

13. Do not become complacent! Always keep your mind and eyes on the task at hand.

14. Obey all warning signs and barricades.

15. Inspect all equipment, scaffolds, ladders, lifts, etc. before using. If found to be defective
remove from service

16. Good housekeeping is maintained, keep your area clean & clear of obstacles.

17. Implement proper lifting techniques.

18. Proper lighting arrangements to be made if light falls below normal level.
