SUMMARY AND LEARNING REASULTS

In this subject the student will be able to recognize the basic concepts on the material, to distinguish
the performance of the organization of activities and the characteristics of ages 6-17 years. It will
be able to organize pedagogical activities and catechism based hours according to multiple
intelligences on topics that are needed. It will also inspire children and young people to live up to
God’s principles by cultivating high human values in order to be able to cop with the various
challenges of life.

SUBJECT TOPICS
Topic I- Preservation and spread of faith in communist period. During the 45 years of
communism in Albania, the Orthodox faith has been preserved and followed by generations of
praiseworthy ways of various activities and countless motives.
Topic II- Rejuvenation and formation from foundations
In this topic students will be knowing with acceptance of Gospel in Albania as and with
historical facts until 1991.

Topic III- Apostolic and pastoral endeavor.
The main priority was the proclamation of Christ’s message, the transmission of Orthodox
faith to people’s hearts, visits to various institutions, asylums, prisons, etc.

Topic IV- Methodology of biblical curriculum for kids and youth
The Bible curriculum achieves its purpose, including the teachings of the Scriptures, with
themes appropriate to their ages, highly effective in reinforcement and application experienced
inside the Church.

Topic V- Development of kids in 6-7 years.
Based on psychologists Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson etc. kids on this age begin to live increase in
knowledge, kills, cooperation with the others by moving from egoism to knowing the right of
others. Understanding this age makes teacher to plain and to use various intelligences.

Topic VI- Teaching, strategies, class managing and lesson.
Teaching is based in the ways of activating, presentation of lesson, class managing is based on
rules, praying etc., using appropriate strategies including students with questions, illustrations
etc. in order to achieve the strengthening of knowledge and the desire for implementation.

Topic VII- Instruction for the development of 10-year old children
At this age, gender characteristics are developed, mainly in girls and interests for the social
group and friends. Therefore, we should offer examples from the community by introducing
them into the life of Church. They are full of enthusiasm and energy to be involved in diverse
educational activities.

Topic VIII- Teaching, strategies, class managing and lesson.
We must to note about experiences, history of faith, awareness of moral values, collective work
presented with the chronological presentation, pictures and drawings. They are teaching
examples rules etc.

Topic IX- Thinking progress of 11 and 12-year old children and lesson
In this age (early adolescence) thinking ability is developing to use logical processes of problem
solving, assign assignments, discuss causes of event, positive reinforcement, examples, to be
properly oriented and reflect on their acceptance with God.

Topic X- Characteristics of ages 12-14 years old.
Social relationships at this age become important for the development of health. Physical,
emotional and intellectual growth is fast and the influence of society is a major challenge for
their unique identity. Enjoy respect for the elders and parents. They are sensitive and fragile to
criticism. Seeks to have as much freedom as possible. Clear rules help them to be safe.
They need to express their belief in their personal way

Topic XI- Teaching, class managing, instructional lesson.
Teaching is based on linking Bible stories to everyday life by planning community service
projects, stimulating discussions by learning in co-operation and interaction. The good guidance
of questions is the key to success. Young people also need to help them live with respect,
responsibility and love among themselves. The example of influences are a lot in their behavior.

Topic XII- Characteristics of ages 15-17 years old and teaching.
At this age the youth can be very active and impulsive. They want to have leadership roles and
need support and approval of adults. They need freedom, to discover, to choose, to try. They
think critically, struggle for the creation of their identity, tend to refuse the values that they have
received from parents trying to find their own values, the adolescent of belief identity is
gradually formed.

Topic XIII- Managing and lesson.
Managing of this age is pleasure and challenge at the same time. They needed few general rules.
Is needing a right example for the youth, different methods in development of activities for
example such as group segregation, incentives for listening, etc., so that students focus on
learning and adopt their goal by applying them to everyday life.

Theme XIV- Organization of day and residential camps
The camp carries a program prepared by leading staff and has the generic education of
generations as well as formative, sports and entertainment activities.
Themes XV- Organization of conferences and festivals
Given that the reinforcement and the acquisition of new experiences is achieved through
cooperation and interaction, the realization of conferences and festivals and responsible activities
and are of great interest because the young people get acquainted with each other, share their
experiences, are urged to be strengthened more in God and to be responsible in their choice.
FORM OF KNOWELDGE CONTROL
Frequency: 75% of presence in necessary seminars
20% of final grade by engaging students during the lesson, seminars and tests
30% of the final grade from the course project
A final exam on the 16th week of lessons after performing the 15 weeks if semester is another
50% of the final grade.

CONCLUDING REMARKS FROM PEDAGOGUE


This course aims at acquiring knowledge, new concepts and engaging student to think critically
and act creatively. It’s also important for students to know the methods and strategies of
dissemination of the Orthodox reprisal during the communist era to date, mainly in the field of
organizing pedagogical activities for children and youth, inspiring them to walk on the path of
virtue within one trouble society
