The SEPEP Coaching Portfolio aims to show knowledge gained during this term’s Touch
Rugby unit and provide evidence of work completed. Being a team orientated unit, your
Portfolio mark will apply to all members so you need to ensure an equal contribution comes
from each person.
Over the course of the term you should be building your portfolio with relevant
documentation for your team. While each person should be allocated with a role, it does
not mean they can not contribute to helping other members in their role where
appropriate. Ultimately, it will require sound organisational skills, the ability to problem
solve and a strong work ethic to excel at this assessment.
The following are some examples of the documentation expected for each role:
Role Assessment
Coach (10 marks) – Gameplay, Strategy, Positions, Rotations, Leadership Qualities
Captain (10 marks) – Gameplay, strategy, Positions, Rotations, Leadership Qualities
Team Manager (10 marks) – Uniform Design, Player Management, Team Lists, Duty Team
Roster
Fitness Coordinator (10 marks) – Player Preparation, Fitness Regime
Board Member (10 marks) – Fixtures, Score Cards, Record Keeping for Meetings
Equipment Manager (10 marks) – Equipment List, Uniform Organisation
Team Scout (10 marks) – Scouting Strengths/Weaknesses of own team and others
Publicist (10 marks) – Player Profiles, Team Promotion, Match Reports

4 Average organisation of portfolio. Some documents are in order and in their roles.
3 Below average organisation of portfolio. Documents are not in any order.
