1. Do you think that only certain individual are attracted to these types
of jobs, or is it the characteristics of jobs themselves that are satisfying?

Answer : Based on combination of both job type and the of individual


that makes these jobs successful . we have find a right fit committed
employee and job that challenges them and take advantage of their skill
and interests. We have a dedicated person that fits the job description.
This is the principle difficulty of recruiting. Just having the right
education and background mean that one can be successful in a
particular jobs. The characteristic of jobs make life interesting and
challenging for the individual.

2. What characteristics to increased level of job satisfaction


Answer: Job satisfaction is associated with increased productivity and
organizational effectiveness. Job satisfaction increases retention and
ability to perform at higher levels .Job satisfaction also been found the
reduce negative behaviour as tardiness , absenteeism and turnover.
Some individual to be inclined to be positive or negative about many
thing regardless of job or position. Organizational support employee
engagement are also key factors in building satisfaction. A positive work
environment would also be a great contributor . This would include
having a great colleges to collaborate combined with supportive
manager. Without work conflict to contend will all jobs will have higher
satisfaction rates. A final factor would be that each jobs is a senior level
position. From an investment banker to head of international marketing
to heading up an NGO , these job satisfying because they are position of
power.

3. Given the four individual about tend to be satisfied with their jobs ,
how might this satisfaction relate to their job performance ,citizenship
behaviour and turnover?

Answer: Satisfaction relate to their job performance those employees


who were satisfied will always try to improve the performance that will
increase their productivity. About tend to be satisfied with Job
satisfaction and customer satisfaction their jobs a satisfied employees
will give positive impact to their performance also applied to those
employees who are dealing with customer. Satisfied employees increase
satisfaction and loyalty. Job satisfaction employees absenteeism like
citizenship behaviour . if dissatisfied employees are more likely to miss
work , those satisfied employees are much likely to have low rate of
absenteeism. Lastly ,job satisfaction and turnover. Satisfied employees
are likely to stay with the company much longer and may have positive
perception towards the organization.

4. Recall David Clark statement, “there are plenty of people who would
love to have this job. There re knocking on the door all the time”. How
might David Clark perceptions of having a job that many other desire
contribute to his job satisfaction?

Answer: the feeling that David Clark might have is satisfied and happy to
have that job because he have greater position.he gonna have active
and constructive attempts to improve condition of their company. For
example,suggesting improvements or discussing problem with
superior.besides that, this job is the job that everyone want cause its
have a bigger income than income usual job. David Clark might been feel
a little frustrated to finish his daily task. He’s also gonna work hard for
the job cause the chance to get the job is pretty hard. however, that job
is harder make he lost interest one day that could make his feeling
become passive. For example,passively waiting for the job to improve.
