Prime rating: Unlimited hours usage with an average load factor of 80% of the published prime rating over each 24 hour period. A 10%
overload is available for 1 hour in 12. Generally as ISO 8528 Prime Power.
Standby rating: Limited to 500 hours annual usage with an average load factor of 100% of the published standby rating. Up to 300 hours
of the annual usage may be run continuously. No overload is permitted. Generally as ISO 8528 Limited Time Running Power
Overall thermal efficiency: Based on 42,584 MJ/kg calorific value for diesel conforming to specification BS2869 Class A2.

* Denotes ratings which have been developed to comply with 1/2 TA Luft (as 1986 with 2000 mg/m 3 NOx @ 5% O2) limits for power
generation engines.
** Denotes ratings which have been developed to comply with EPA (Tier 1/Tier 2 as appropriate). EPA Certification has been obtained.
These ratings have also been developed to comply with proposed EU (Stage 1/Stage 2 as appropriate) and future JMOC (Step 2 as
appropriate) limits for power generation engines. Certification will be applied for.
