24
FINDING’S SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATIONS

A major research finding in this study was the high degree of relationship between
training and career opportunity job satisfaction among employees in Mah Sing Group.
The problems that this few employee face at this company is they did not understand
what the trainer want to give in their speech. Some of them also have problem to
improve the career due to their education level and experienced.

The implication of this problems is first the information that the trainer what to give to the
employee will be stuck and the employee will not get the information in the best way.
They will get bored and will not interested to join the next program that already manage
by the HRM.

Next, when the employee want to improve their career opportunity but have many
obstacle they will easy to give up and will find new work place that can accept them with
high salary and position.

Besides that, training for employee also will make them get some motivation so if they
can understand and accept the problem that they face. From an employee standpoint, it
means that training received is related to a significant portion of the satisfaction
experienced on the job. It means that employees value training, and deem it a
necessary part of the job. The value of an organization depends on its employees. So a
company must employ competent and motivated people. To be competitive and
profitable, a company must include education, training and employee development as
an essential part of its strategy.

For my opinion and experience, every people can have a change to improve their self.
As a human resources management they need to voice out the problem that employee
face to the higher level and tell them new idea which is make a training that can improve
their skill and knowledge that can make them get more career opportunity. Mah Sing
Group is a big property development that gain many profit from their business so they
need to rewards their staff by improve their career it can make the staff happy and feel
appreciated with what all they have done to the company.

25
CONCLUSION

The major lessons that I have learned from HRM perspective. The study examined
employee satisfaction towards training and career opportunity, the effect of working
conditions on employee satisfaction, the impact of training and development on
employee satisfaction and finally the influence of human resources factors on employee
satisfaction in Mah Sing Group. The strong significant relationship between training and
career opportunity suggest how efficient and effective employees could be when highly
satisfied on the jobs. Therefore, it is evident that organizations need to apply these
tested variables: training and development, working conditions, staff retention in their
strategies in order to make employees satisfy on their jobs, which in turn will reduce
turnover rate and help achieve organizational goals. As a result of our findings and
recommendation it can be concluded that equitable rewards system such as pay,
working conditions, training and development, fair treatment, and fair human resources
practices are determinants of employee job satisfaction.

There are many HRM practices like recruitment and selection, training, performance
appraisal, career path, compensation, job definition etc. Only three practices
(recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits) were
taken to understand the impact on the job satisfaction of the employees. The findings of
these questions showed that there was a good employee satisfaction towards training
and career opportunity. The frequencies relating to the satisfaction towards training and
career development opportunities were showing the higher values. So to improve the
employee’s satisfaction towards their job and organization the management should
focus to improve the HRM practices and their qualities. It is concluded that recruitment
and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits play a vital role for
the satisfaction of the employees.
