Project Objective
The primary objective of this documentation for providing our client with a solution,
which would allow us to enhance the current features available in the website, easily
migrate the existing content to the new website. In the process of redeveloping a
redesigning, it is necessary to provide our client with sample of our previous work and
some ideas with the concept of new design that will be representing the landing page for
the organization DAY (Diabetes, Awareness & You). It is very important that a proper
technological analysis and a proper framework needs to be suggested so that it will be
easily maintained by the current team in uploading, modifying, editing & deleting existing
or new content.

The new website should be more visually interactive as well as more elegant in terms
layout structure. Along with it should be easily navigable. Information’s should not be
clustered and congested rather it should be distributed and proper links needs to be
created to make the re-direction for the user a smooth experience.

Scope of Work
The following scope of work is needed to be address to provide a solution based on the
initial request as presented by the DAY (Diabetes, Awareness & You) team:

a) Re-designing of the complete website

b) Redevelopment of the website
c) Introduce new framework
d) Create a better interface

g) Migrate existing Contents
h) Integrate the existing Logo & Images associated with the website.

l) Follow the guidelines associated with the NGO itself.
Our Assumptions
The website will be a dynamic website with the ability of rendering search engine friendly
content along with both desktop and mobile friendly.

The client will provide the necessary information & text contents and access to the
existing legacy database system for us to integrate the entire system with the existing
system. It is mandatory, as the migration needs to be happening smoothly.

Digital Aptech Pvt. Ltd. would like to consider the following in the process of developing
the website:

 1. DAY (Diabetes, Awareness & You) needs to provide the access to the current
Hosting details associated with the hosting of the current web application.
2. Domain Name details and SSL certificate should be provided.
3. For accessing, the existing Content from the site DAY (Diabetes, Awareness &
You) should provide access to DAPL.
4. Site Structure/Navigation for the new website needs to be finalized by DAY
(Diabetes, Awareness & You) and provide it to Digital Aptech Pvt. Ltd.
5. User interface design needs to be finalized, before integration and coding.
6. Any additional scope than the below mentioned points will be add-ons to the
project and will be charged on per hour rate.
7. In order to keep the project on track Digital Aptech Pvt. Ltd. expects timely
feedback on intermediate deliverables.
8. Digital Aptech will be sending additional documents after the confirmation of
the project in accordance to the coding standard followed by Digital Aptech
Pvt. Ltd.

Constraints
1. No practical implementation of the project will begin until DAY (Diabetes,
Awareness & You) would finalize the SRS document created by Digital Aptech
after the confirmation of the project.
2. DAY (Diabetes, Awareness & You) will support with all information that is
valid and necessary for the execution of the project.
3. The site will be compatible with I.E. 5+, Firefox 1.0.7+, and Netscape 7+ at
minimum 800 x 600 resolution.
4. Any dependency or integration of third party API/SDKs needs to be mentioned
beforehand by the DAY (Diabetes, Awareness & You), before the initiation of
the project.

Business Solution
The web site will have an easy and user-friendly interface design and navigation. In
addition to this, they will have an administration tool from where respective site admin
can edit the content from the site and update the site.

The development team at our end will design web based user interface that integrates well
with the desired look and feel and work it out so that it becomes functional in the time
that is decided to get the site in place.

As mentioned above the proper website structure has been created as per the available
pages and data associated with it. After carefully evaluating the pages, DAPL would like to
propose the following, as there are few functional areas and mostly content-based pages,
which needs to be update on regular basis:

a) CMS Section: The system admin will be managing the content pages for editing
purpose or deleting purpose or modifying purpose or updating purpose using the
content management section.
b) Notice Board/Updates: This section will be managed through a custom area,
which will be created by DAPL, for uploading this information. Data and time can
also be set so that it is automatically removed from the system after certain period.
c) Login Area: Details regarding this needs to be provided so that we can explore
the inner section of this area. Single page login application can definitely be created
and integrated into the system.

Timelines & Deliverables

The timeline associated with the development of this project is heavily dependent on the
creation of SRS, clarifying the query that we have raised and finalising the tech stack as
per our suggestion. It is very important we evaluate all the different bottlenecks

associated with the project and create a document highlighting each functionality so that
we can be transparent in regards to our delivery.

Based on the initial go through without considering the area, which is not clear and
redesigning, and redevelopment of the website would require us at least 3 months with
a full commitment from the following resources: The following breakdown of resource
engagement would allow you to have an idea regarding the resource that will be engaged
for this project.
