- High growling noise coming from driven fan side bearing, which is the symptom of bad bearing,
believes the fan bearing is deteriorated.
- Highest vibration recorded at motor DE bearing in-line to belt direction, with random spectral data
believes due to deteriorated fan bearing.
- PeakVue data on both motor bearings show fairly high G’s level indicates bearing faulty and
looseness.

Recommendation

- Replace both the motor bearing and the fan side bearing.
- Inspect the belt and sheaves conditions and replace necessarily

- Overall vibration readings are within acceptable limit.

- Obseved high cyclic chirping sound coming from the driven fan side, which is the common
cause of pulley bearing faulty.
- The chirping sound has been verified with vibration analyser and it is synchronised with fan
speed, agrees that the fan pulley bearing is getting bad.

Recommendations

- Replace the fan pulley bearing.

- Inspect the belt and sheaves conditions and replace necessarily
- Tension the belt properly
