It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Alexis Baumgartner. I have had the pleasure of working
with Alexis when she was completing her final internship in my classroom at Tonalea K-8 during
spring 2016 academic school year.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Alexis, and came to know her as a truly valuable asset
to our school and learning team during her internship. Her integrity is the hallmark of her strengths
as her character demonstrates, honesty, dependability, and she is incredibly hard working. Beyond
that, she is a very impressive leader and future teacher, who demonstrated she is capable of going
the extra mile in order to achieve the highest results from students.

Her knowledge of language arts and creative lesson planning was a huge advantage for my
classroom. She put this skillset to work in order to ensure knowledge of content was delivered with
fidelity and rigor. As a student teacher, Alexis’ effective knowledge of content and her ability to
connect with students was also paramount for success in the classroom.

Along with her undeniable talents as a future teacher, it was a pleasure to work with her and learn
from her as well. She is a true team leader and team player, as she always managed to foster
positive discussions and bring out the best in our community of learners, thus building constructive
relationships with students. In the end, our students embraced Ms. Baumgartner as someone they
could trust and rely on as an encouraging fixture in our classroom.

Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Alexis Baumgartner. As a dedicated and

knowledgeable student and forthcoming educator, she is also an all-around astonishingly great
person. I know she will be a beneficial addition to any district she applies and any school will be
better because of her abilities. Her high achieving actions and powerful ability to reach and exceed
goals are marked with her determination as she continues to demonstrate and achieve exceptional
skills that will foster excellent teaching. I value her strengths and celebrate her accomplishments
each and every day as she strives to make a difference in the lives of students.
