Sub: Nomination of officer(s) to the 11th ARF ISM on NPD

FR, an E-mail communication received from the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta may kindly be seen.

02. Vide the E-mail, the ASEAN Political Security Cooperation Directorate has informed that
the 11th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Inter-Sessional Meeting (ISM) on Non-Proliferation and
Disarmament (NPD) will be held in Indonesia on 8-9 April 2019. The ASEAN Secretariat expects
that a delegation from Bangladesh would attend the meeting. The complete invitation package,
including the invitation letter, provisional agenda and administrative arrangements will be
available in due course.

03. As this meeting is concerned with Non-Proliferation and Disarmament, it is proposed that
DG (UN) or DG (MEA) or their representatives may be nominated to attend the meeting. A new
set of officers may also be nominated to visit on this occasion as part of training to have insights
on Non-Proliferation and Disarmament issues.
