SUBJECT: Invitation for the 13th International Folk Festival “ST. CYRIL AND METHODIUS”

Dear Sir or Madam,

The Folklore Association “Igraorec” - Skopje and Ensemble “Skopje” - Skopje invites you to take a part on the 13 th
International Folk Festival “ST. CYRIL AND METHODIUS” that will take place in Ohrid from 23.05. to
27.05.2019 (it is possible 3 day stay from 24.05 to 27.05.2019).

Please find below the conditions of participation:

1. The festival will take place in Ohrid, protected city and lake of UNESCO with reach historical and cultural
past.
2. The number of members has to be up to 50 person (all ages are allowed). For more members please ask the
Organization.
3. The groups will be accommodated in hotel (Makoteks, Zlaten Prsten, Montenegrin, Galeb, Pela, Congress
Center), apartments (Vila Dule, Fortuna, Deluxe) or in children hostel “Slavejce” (accommodation is
depending of the group choice). Hotel Makoteks is in the touristic settlement Lagadin only
10m from the beach. Hotel Zlaten Prsten is in the touristic settlement Peshtani 20m from
the the beach. Hotel Montenegrin is located in the center of Ohrid on the main street
Turisticka. Hotel Pela is 4 km from Ohrid in the touristic settlement Sv. Stefan located 130m from the
beach. Hotel Congress Center is in is in the touristic settlement Konjsko 20m from the the
beach. Hotel Galeb is in Struga city located 20m from the beach. All apartments are new and
modern apartments located in city of Ohrid. Hostel Slavejce is in the touristic settlement Sv.
Stefan and is located 20m from the beach.
4. The rooms in the hotels are with 2, 3 or 4 beds (mostly 3-beds and 4-beds rooms and only few 2-beds
rooms per group). The price for 4 days (3 meals/per day included) is 95 EUR/per member for hotel Pela
and Congress Center, 85 EUR/per member for hotels Montenegrin, Makoteks and Zlaten Prsten and 80
EUR/per member for hotel Galeb and Apartments. The price for 3 days (3 meals/per day included) is 75
EUR/per member for hotels Pela and Congress Center, 65 EUR/per member for hotels Montenegrin,
Makoteks, Zlaten Prsten, Galeb and Apartments. For every 20 members (including drivers) the organizer
approves gratis accommodation for 1 member.
5. The rooms in the hostels are with up to 8 beds. All rooms have own toilet and shower. The price for 4 days
in the hostel (3 meals/per day included) is 65 EUR/per member. The price for 3 days in the hostel (3
meals/per day included) is 50 EUR/per member. For every 20 members (including drivers) the organizer
approves gratis accommodation for 1 member. The hostel is only available for children and youth groups.
6. The group can prolong their stay to 5 or more days. Please ask organizer for the accommodation price.
7. All applications should be confirmed with application fee of 200 EUR required for a booking of the
hotels/hostels. This fee is part of the accommodation costs and must be made payable in full to the
organizer account. The account number will be provided additionally after registration of the participants.
Any banking costs that arise must be paid by the applicant. If a group cancels its appearance of its own
accord, it will have no right to a refund.
8. The groups have to prepare the performing program of 10 min per performance. The play-back (CD or
USB) is allowed. The final Program of the festival will be send additionally.
9. The groups have to arrive in Ohrid on 23 May starting with lunch and have to depart on 27 May after the
breakfast.
