Beetlejuice - is a mischievous spirit of the underworld often summoned to help scare

people. Little do people know, that his help always comes at a price.

Adam & Barbara - Adam and Barbara are a newly married couple who have just
moved into their new home. They are very much in love.

Mrs Roberts – is an estate agent who sold Adam and Barbara their new house and then
re-sells the property after their deaths.

Nathaniel Roberts – Nathaniel is Mrs Roberts’ son.

Melissa – is the new owner of Adam and Barbara’s house.

Abbey – is the receptionist of the underworld.

 Synopsis

In a small sleepy town in England we are introduced to Adam and Barbara. The newly married
__________ have just bought their first home together and are spending time decorating. They are
completely in love and excited about spending the rest of their lives ____________.

They take a trip to their local town centre where tragedy strikes and the couple’s happiness is
abruptly changed. A terrible crash occurs in which the newlyweds are ________. Unaware that they
are __________ Adam and Barbara return to their house but have some serious injuries. The
couple begin to notice strange things are happening. Their car has vanished, time doesn't seem the
same, they have no ___________ and a book appears in their home called 'The Hand Book for the
Recently Deceased'.

Time passes relatively quickly and soon their home is sold to Melissa. Barbara is furious that this
strange woman has moved into her lovely home and is removing her belongings. They decide to try
and ________ Melissa away but with little success as they are ___________ to the living.

Consulting the handbook the couple manage to _________ a door which takes them to the waiting
room of the Underworld. They are informed that there is a wait of six ________ which to them seems
a long time. All the couple want is to scare Melissa out of their home. Abbey, the receptionist of the
_____________ tells them about a mysterious spirit called Beetlejuice who claims he is able to scare
the living. To summon him you must __________ his name three times. She recommends trying to
solve the problem themselves first as Beetlejuice is dangerous.

Adam and Barbara summon Beetlejuice and as they do so they are transported to a grave yard.
They regret their decision as he is a crazy, insane ghost who will only _______ them at a price. He
wants Barbara as his wife. Not happy with Beetlejuice they decide to try and scare Melissa
themselves.

Their efforts to scare Melissa have little effect and before long they _________ to allow Beetlejuice to
help them. Melissa ends up tied in a chair scared for her life. Beetlejuice refuses to leave and insists
Melissa ___________ him. Adam and Barbara try to stop him but Beetlejuice’s magic is too powerful.
In the end Beetlejuice himself is scared away and Adam, Barbara and Melissa __________ to live
