WHO WE ARE
Start Up! is an incubator, impact accelerator and leadership springboard for social entrepreneurs. We seed
and scale social ventures that create lasting impact in under-served communities.
WHAT WE DO
We work with social ventures (across the profit- non-profit continuum) that are at different stages in their
lifecycle- seed, growth and maturity. We build enduring social change models with focus on innovation,
impact and sustainability.
Over eight years, Start Up! has incubated and scaled more than 60 social ventures; we have delivered 150
change projects in 15 states. Our teams have trained 350 leaders of grassroots, small and medium-scale social
enterprises in strategic planning and leadership building. We have also incubated incubators!
A professional women’s chauffeur and cab company – powered by women from urban poor communities.
A wealth management model for seasonal migrants and their families.
A school of entrepreneurship and leadership for grassroots women entrepreneurs.
Village-level tea producing companies, led by small and marginal tea growers.
A multi-city culture and heritage education program for government and private schools.
A sport for development program with focus on gender and sexuality for adolescent girls
from disadvantaged communities.
An India-wide skilling and employment venture for persons with disabilities.

HOW WE WORK
We incubate and scale social ventures through a proven 8 Step Methodology, which has been developed in-
house by Start Up! All our services are immersive and field-based. We co-create and co-entrepreneur solutions
with social entrepreneurs. In all our work, we use design thinking and other creative methods that have been

We are looking for an entrepreneurial person with demonstrated leadership in the social entrepreneurship
sector and a keenness to grow Start Up’s unique business model. You will be part of an “Everybody An
Intrapreneur” team that builds vibrant social ventures and an active eco-system for social
entrepreneurship across India.
Role: Program Associate
Location: Delhi
Work arrangement: Full-time permanent position
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide research, coordination and communication support towards building go-to-market strategies,
business plans, financial models, operational plans and other execution solutions for social
entrepreneurs.
Research and maintain a robust investor and funder network; connect them to our partners and clients.
Coordinate and organize leadership training workshops and mentoring programs for social entrepreneurs.
Ensure excellent project documentation, report writing, project management and regular communication
with all stakeholders.
Innovation, growth and excellence in execution are the core behaviours of Start Up! As part of the Start Up!
team you can expect to:
Train and be coached by your supervisors in our in-house methodologies of incubating and accelerating
social ventures.
Work with India’s leading social entrepreneurs.
Travel extensively to gather sector insights and intelligence from the ground-up.
Tinker with our bank of innovative tools, templates and design-thinking approaches; and create new one
if you desire.
Play on multiple opportunities for creative writing and communication.
