DXD-180/500/1000series
Ⅰ general description
DXD-180、500、1000 model is as one interval and exquisite high efficiency automatic packing machine, with
perfect structure, unique design. This model is suitable for automatically packing loose, no adhesive, powder
and granular products. Such as coffee, sugar, salt, monosodium glutamate, seasoning, powder, medicine grain,
drying agent, tea, plant seed material and lotion, detergent, facial cream, soy sauce. The mechanism adopts the
newest control method and device of imported clutch to control bag size. The advantage of this machine is as
follow: intelligent photoelectric trade, simple adjustment, accurate track, perfect operation. And prevent
materials from the effect of heat and light high extent. Thus decrease the waste of material and reduce the cost
ⅡPacking materials
Packing materials used for this machine are compound materials, e.g. paper/ polyethylene, cellophane/
polyethylene, nylon/ aluminum-plated/ polyethylene, BOPP thin film, tea filter paper and etc.
Packing films are used in rolls, with an outside diameter not more than 300mm. the inside diameter of the
roll is 75mm. light spots for position control should be provided between two individual trade marks. The
width of the each light spot is about 5mm, and its length is about 8mm. the light spots should be clear, and the
ink should be equal. The stronger the contrast between the light spots and the base film, the more reliable the
control.
Take care that no trade mark pattern and other text should be within the side band where the light spots locate
when designing the trade mark to prevent mis-triggering of the photo-electric probe.
User should make sure the volume of the packaged product before choosing the packing materials.
According to the volume of packaged product to make sure the width of the packing material (twice time
width of shape bag), and the distance between trademarks (length of shape bag). Designing the picture of
packing material should after making sure the volume of packed product and the length of packing bag.
The total thickness of packing material is between 0.03mm and 0.1mm, which should depend on the request
and feature of package product.

Horizontally rotate at 90° install the (19) horizontal device to be the back sealing device.

④Adjustment and principle of paper guide


Install packing material as picture, and deliver the material between two vertical paper-guide wheels. Fix
photo eye on the guide pole.
Move photoelectric guide-lever shafts (5), when photoelectric guide-lever shaft is in align with photoelectric
track-spot; adjust sensitivity of photoelectric probe, one output-signal (photoelectric probe indicator glitter) is
send. When packing machine is running, paper-deliver (18) wheel pull packing material to move control-lever
of cam (15) upward and rotate. When cam rotate and jack the distance-switch, constant touch switch is
contacted, and paper delivering motor (11) is running. Packing material is delivered automatically, when
control-lever of cam (15) moves downward distance-switch to connect constant touch-spot, paper-delivering
(11) motor stop running.
Paper-deliver is circulated as above description when packing machine is running.

3 Brief description of difference in four models.


The differences of the interval packing machine are four parts: granule packing machine, paste-state packing
machine, powder packing machine, liquid packing machine. The main parts and working principle are alike,
describe as above. The difference is the feeding component and methods of adjustment. The description of the
difference of four models is as follow:
3. Granular packing machines
The brief structure of feeding material is as following picture
When adjusting, just o rotate the adjusting hand-wheel, follow clockwise, the quantity is decrease; follow anti-
clockwise, the quantity is increase. Attention: upper and lower measurement cup can not separate.

Besides, the feeding time adjustment of granule packing machine is as follow:


The adjustment of the swivel plate’s feeding time: elevate the idle wheel G2 high enough to separate from the
clutch gear G1 and rotate, change the joint part to make the open and close time of clutch with the cross
sealing. Then move the gear G2 to its original position.

③Paste-state packing machine


The brief structure of feeding material is as following picture:
When adjust, loosen screw, when rotate screw pole clockwise, the quality of material of feeding will
increase. When rotate screw pole anti-clockwise, the quality of material of feeding will decrease. After
adjustment, lock screw tightly.
Attention: when Piston pump mechanism need to stop, the best position of screw pole is just like the position
in picture, this will be suitable for blocking the flow. When packing material.

3.3 Power packing machine.

④liquid packing materials


The feeding components of liquid packing machine can be called feeding device, which is installed on the
outside machine box. Metering pump that used in inject liquid make use of piston inject liquid from the Vessel
to former through the plastic tube to achieve the function of the automatically pack.

ⅰoperational procedure
(1) Oil the following parts before operation
Parts for routine oil: the four supports of horizontal sealing rollers
Parts for daily oil, cutter clutch, rotating parts made of copper and copper alloys and parts with relative
rotation.
(2) Turn on the power switch, the power indicator light up and power can be applied to the heaters for vertical
and horizontal sealing roller.
(3) Adjust the temperature control knob of vertical and horizontal sealing to the required temperature. The
temperature depends on the used material and normally is 100-110℃. Besides; the horizontal sealing and
vertical sealing require different temperature. Adjustment should be made according to the conditions of
the seal. Threads the film as picture 13
(4) The length of bag is set by computer to match the instructed length of the light spot. Firstly survey the
length of packing material set by computer, namely, the actual length of bag.
(5) Deliver the thin film along the guide channel nearby the vertical seal-roller, to justify margins the both
sides of thin film, if not, the film will curl when vertical sealing.
(6) Deliver the film into vertical sealing roll, operate cut without material to check whether the cementation is
perfect. If the temperature is too low, the film will separate when is pulled; if too high, the surface of
heating seal take on white color, not artistic. Attention: it’s easy to cause trouble, if the temperature is
always high,
(7) Surveying the actual sealing length once more to check whether the set length is appropriate.
(8) Manual step less speed-adjust belt-wheel, deliver film enter horizontal sealing roller, keep the spot position
of film between the horizontal sealing rollers. Rotate cam of main shaft to achieve the up-down micro-
switch is off. And achieve the photoelectric probe in align with the spot position of film.
(9) Turn on the power switch of photoelectric panel, adjust delay-switch as single balance or off state, adjust
light-black choose switch as ‘black’ state, and adjust the knob of sensitivity and time. The adjustment of
sensitivity should according to the contract between color mark and background. When color mark is pale,
rotate knob clockwise, when color mark is thick, rotate anti-clockwise. The movement is achieved when
the running state light of photoelectric probe glitter in the position of color mark.
(10) Connecting the cutter clutch, when it can’t cut in the place of set, cut off the motor switch to adjust.

(11) Connecting the cutter clutch, adjust the time of feeding to make the packed materials be filled in the bag
after the end of horizontal seal, if the time adjust not good, there will be some powder clamped in the place
of heating seal.
(12) Putting the packed materials into the hopper
(13) After finishing the above steps, the package can be start.
ⅱ Sequence of shutdown
(1) Cut off feeding clutch, stop feed material
(2) Cut off cutter clutch
(3) Cut off motor switch
(4) Cut off power switch
(5) Finish the operation and check and clean
ⅲ Attention:
⑴ Observe whether the noise of the machine is harmonious during operation, abnormal noise should be
identified rapidly before failure.
⑵ After threading film, the film will be burn if the machine does not start for a long time, and heat of vertical
and horizontal sealing rollers is continuous transferred to the film. In such case, turn the three back nuts
clockwise to separate the two horizontal rollers and the two vertical rollers each other.
⑶ The surface of vertical and horizontal sealing blocks should be cleaned frequently with a brass brush,
polyethylene and dust adhered on the surface of the blocks will cause bad seal.
⑷ Turn off the power switch of machine when performing checking, cleaning or maintenance.
⑸ Never put hand or other objects between two horizontal and vertical sealing blocks
⑹ Check the fixed part of machine regularly to find whether loose or Abscission
⑺ Oil regularly.
Ⅵ transportation and installment
ⅰTransportation
⑴The four foot-wheels under machine can be used when transport in Workshop, the ground should be smooth,
or will break the foot wheels.
⑵Long-distance transportation, machine should be provided with Packing case, with the aid of four supporters
the machine should be fixed in the base plate of packing case, the up part of machine should be fixed, and
the upper parts of machine should be braced with soft wooden bars. Soft pads should be place between the
contacting surface of the machine and the bars. The out surface of the packing case should be printed the
sign as “no inversion, no Incline, no bump” and other signs of Hoisting methods.
ⅱ Installments
Prevent electric-shock; guarantee security; and install the ground-line
(1) The installed environment of machine is to be far away the moist land and the high-voltage power
appropriately.
(2) To avoid the trouble, cut off all the switches before packing materials
(3) The best adjustment of speed is under the running state of machine that transmitted by elect motor.
(4) Please install the machine far away the sun perpendicular incidence place.
(5) Anti-operation of machine will break the machine; do not rotate anti-clockwise when manual adjustment.
Ⅶ Adjustments of machinery and solution of trouble
⑴ Parts of mechanism can’t run
Reason 1 the contact between the motor and the line is broken t; connect the broken part. If the motor is
in trouble, motor should be changed.
Reason 2 the locknut of belt wheel of the electric motor or the decelerate motor is loose, the top-screw
does not elevate tightly, which cause motor rotate without effect ion. Check and tight locknut and top-
screw.
Reason 3 the fuse is burn out: replace the equal fuse
Reason 4 the screws and keys of gear are loose: tighten the loose key and screws from the motor to the
drive and check machine in regular step.
Reason 5 other things falls on gear and rotated parts, the sound of motor is not in coordination, if not
with, the motor will burn out. So take out it.
Reason 6 the pressure of horizontal and vertical sealing block is too high, the adjustment of distance is too
small, readjustment of the distance and pressure.
⑵ Unprotected trouble of horizontal sea -roll
Reason: the bearing of the heat-roll does not oil in time, so cause it burn out and cause the operation of
the fixed Lock-ring and key of gear. Oil should be injected on the heat-roll. The lock-ring and key should
be fixed again.
⑶ Troubles of turntable
ⅰ The packed powder is sealed in the heating seal place.
Reason: the time of filling and sealing is not in coordination.
Solution: The gears that connect with turntable are the second gear, push the second gear to change the
joint of gears, which keep the bag without powder when seal. The ideal adjustment is that fill the powder
into bag after finishing the horizontal seal. Do not touch after adjustment.
ⅱ Wrong operation after having already done the bag adjustment operation
Reason: the fix of turntable is not good, the key and screws are loose or the fixed place is not right. Or the
switch of turntable does not work well.
Repair and adjustment: fix the turntable in the right place and fix the key and screws again. After
adjusting the on-off mechanism of switch in the right place, fix the switch. Besides, when fill small
granules or the different proportion of mixture into bag, more time is needed. So powder will enter the
place of seal. The speed of packing should be lowed to match the quality of packed powder.

4 Trouble of cutter
(1) Cut off not film:
Reason 1 the adjustment of gap between drive knife and Static knife is not good
Methods of adjustment: there are two short screw bolts outside of cutter which can pull tightly and two
long screw bolt inside which can press tightly. When the edge of drive cutter approach static cutter, the
friction between the two knifes cut off film. The best gap between the cutters is 1/100mm,
Two up part of knifes contact slightly and keep them parallel. When adjust, cutter coupling should be
push film should be delivered between two cutters with hand and be cut off. Cutter coupling should pull
out.
Reason 2 the edge of cutter is dilapidated...
Grinds with Oilstone when the dilapidation is slight, if serious, repair with Grinder.
Reason 3 the installment of cutter is not good; the operation of cutter coupling is not good. The orientate-
key is separated
Solution: check every part. And fix again.
5 Trouble of horizontal seal-roller
Place of seal is not good:
Reason: the adjustment of heat is not good, the pressure of push-spring is not enough or the pressure is
not equal.
Methods of adjustment: according to the difference of thickness of material and kinds, chose the
appropriate intensity to heating seal, if the humidity of seal is too high, the seal takes on white color, and
the place of seal is easy to separate. The pressure of heating sealing roll depends on push-spring to adjust.
To realize perfect seal, the appropriate humidity and pressure is needed. There one pressure adjust-button
is set to control the vertical heating roll and two pressure adjust-buttons are set to control horizontal
heating roll. Every adjust-button consists of push-button and pull-button. If only use push-button, more
strength will be aid to heat-roll to make the seal not good. So push-button and pull-button should be use
in coordination. Two adjust-buttons are to prevent the unequal Crosswise stress.
6 Trouble of film guide channel:
Film cannot cling up part of heat-roll, or separate heat-roll or both sides are not in alignment with each
other
Reason 1 film of filling, guide channel of film, and the center vertical seal roll and the horizontal seal roll
are not in the same line.
Reason 2 guide channel of film is over-incline.
Reason 3 Eccentric chain wheel’ speed of horizontal heat-roll is abnormal.
Methods of adjustment: The questions can not solute with above 1-3 methods, there should adjust as
follow.
(1)Rotate right the adjust-button of vertical seal to enhance pressure, pay attention that the seal can not be
done if film is over-Stretch,
(2)Reduce the pressure of vertical heating seal-roll; if the pressure is oversized, the film cannot enter
between two rolls
(3) The length of film that enters between two rollers is more than that of normal. Generally speaking, the
length before is 7mm, now is 10mm
(4) When two sides are not in alignment with each other through adjustment, bend the guide channel that
film oversized
(5) If the middle line of guide channel has error, or dilapidation is serous, middle line should be changed.
2、 Trouble in former
When film separate from vertical sealing roller or the packing material of front part of former take on
horizontal fold, rotate the bracket of former. When the packing material of former side take on the radiating
fold along vertical sealing roller, rotate the bracket of former anti-clockwise. When deliver paper
unsmooth, rotate bracket of former anti-clockwise. Move bracket of former fronts and backs is to adjust the
width of the vertical seal. When the two sides of vertical seal are not in align with each other, move the
former rights and lefts.
8 Troubles in the electric section
1, excessive thermal sealing current or fuses burn out
Reason: short circuit inside the electric heater or in the thermal sealing circuit.
2, the thermal sealing rollers do not heat
Reason: (1 heating cord burns out 2 fuse burns out or carbon brush in bad contact
3 failures in temperature controller: when turn the temperature setting knob the red and green indicators do not
glitter.)
3, the temperature of heat-sealing roller is out of self-control (temperature is to high)
Reason: 1, thermo scope line is bad, or thermometer and sealing roller are not well contacting. 2, trouble
inside the temperature controller.
4 The position of photo electricity is not accurate
Reason: (1) the fuse of controller burn out or inner parts are in trouble.
Reason (2) the packing paper has not installed well, which make the center of color code does not through
the center of photo electric probe spot
Reason (3) photoelectric probe id dust.
Reason (4) Sensitivity-knob has not adjusted well.
5 though the increase or decrease speed indicator light glitter, the position of trade mark is not correct.
Reason: (1) the number of interval gear is not chosen correct, which cause the error exceed 1.5mm. Micro-
adjustment of photo electricity is out of work.
(2) The position of photo electricity is not correct; when start cam should be place the position 1, then the
adjust-bracket of photo-electricity should be moved to keep the light spot of photoelectric probe in
align with the center of color mark.
(3) The delay-modification is not correct, should adjust
(4) The micro-switch is in trouble ( when cam rotate , should
(5) The Speed-adjusting mechanism of servo motor is in trouble, clean and repairs it.
6 clean machine constantly, oil regularly.
7 renew the oil of decelerate-motor every three months.
Adjustment is as follow:

Adjustment is as follow:
Push the cutter gear along theater achieves the normal, put cutter in its location.

Adjustment is as follow:
Push the cutter gear along the direction of arrow, enable it separate from idle pulley and turn cutter, if cutter
is delayed, rotate cutter anti-clockwise, if outstrip, rotate cutter clockwise, if normal, after achieve the
normal, put cutter in its location.
