Present simple third person (he-she-it) At this moment you are listening to a song “I´m alive” by Celine Dione, fill in
the blanks with the correct verbs given. Then, read the lyrics again and search as many verbs as you can and write them
down on the table given in the activity.

In English, there are many verbs, so you have to study harder and try to learn them by hearth. One of the most important
aspects about it is to have clear the spelling rules of the verbs for third person singular when talking about third person
singular in simple present.

General rule: add -s Verbs ending in o, s, ss, Verbs ending in Verbs ending in vowel +
ch, sh, x : add –es consonant + y: change y: add -s
walk – walks the y into i and add –es
talk – talks miss – she misses play – she plays
answer – answers watch – she watches study – she studies enjoy – she enjoys
