ain. I think we have to doubt about truth of advertising and take a close look at it for a few re
asons.

First, people spend more money on particular products by watching advertisements. Adverti
sements can affect customer’s brain such as a brainwash. It means continually telling custom
ers and they eventually think in a way improperly. Also, brainwash can make people to decid
e unwisely by giving them wrong and exaggerating information. Furthermore, this may restri
ct people’s freedom to choose rightly.

Second, advertising can affect society harmly. Junk food is especially one of the cases. If com
panies advertise a unhealthy food, it can stimulate people to purchase more unhealthy food.
Also, advertising can be advantageous for big companies, because they can invest more mon
ey than small companies so that their advertisements can be known to public easily.
