The School has four Sections - KG Section (KG I and KG II), Junior Section
(Classes I to IV) Boys' Section (Classes V to XII) and Girls' Section (Classes V to
XII). KG and Junior Sections are guided by Headmistresses and the Boys’ and
Girls’ Sections by Vice Principals under the ultimate supervision of the
Principal.

FACILITIES PROVIDED
TEACHING STAFF
The school is proud to have a team of highly qualified and experienced staff
in each of the sections. The teaching staff come from different parts of India.
They impart knowledge in strict accordance with the CBSE guidelines. The
School provides child-centred learning opportunities so as to explore students’
latent abilities and sharpen their personalities.
ACADEMIC SESSION
The academic year of the School starts from the 1st of April and ends on 31st
March. It is divided into two terms as given below.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
HOUSE SYSTEM
The students of class I and above are divided into four Houses - Blue House,
Green House, Red House and Yellow House. Each House is further divided into
Sub Junior, Junior, Senior and Super Senior categories on the basis of students’
age.

4. Exhibitions - Arts, Science, Craft, Maths and floral decoration.
5. Physical (Games & Sports) - Football, Cricket, Throw ball, Table Tennis, Kho
Kho and Athletics.
BOOKSTORE:
The textbooks and notebooks prescribed for all classes are available in
the Bookstore of the school at reasonable prices. The timing for
purchase of the books is as follows:
RESOURCE ROOM
Resource Room caters to the children with special educational needs. Its
objective is to facilitate learning by providing an unrestrictive environment to
such children. Books, music, fun and frolic enrich their learning experience.
They are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities like sports,
dramatics, field trips, art and craft. The Resource Room follows an
individualized educational plan for each child, and maintains a high student-
teacher ratio. Admission to the Resource Room is restricted. The instructor can
recommend a case after observing the child’s behaviour. Children who are
violent or need imminent medical attention will not be admitted.
SCHEME OF STUDIES
The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi
under the 10+2 pattern and is approved by the Supreme Education Council, State
of Qatar. The School follows the curriculum, syllabi and textbooks prescribed by the
CBSE for all its classes. Qualifying examinations are held at the end of class 10 and 12.
Medium of Instruction: English, which is also the first language taught at the
School.
Note: Indian students must offer Hindi either as second or third language.

SCHOOL HOURS
The School will observe the following time schedule through the year -
STD I TO XII 6:50 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The school works from Sunday to Thursday as per the above timing. Friday
and Saturday are observed as weekly holidays.

Winter Vacations
*The Office remains closed on Saturday evening. Office hours during summer
and winter holidays are subject to variations.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admission is open to all Indian children in all classes subject to qualifying the
Admission Test, availability of seats and at the discretion of the school
authorities and the Presidency of Private Education, State of Qatar. Children
of other nationalities will also be considered for admission if seats are
available.
ADMISSION REGULATIONS
5. Parents whose children are already studying in the School cannot claim
admission for their younger wards as a matter of right.
6. Both the parents and the child must be present at the time of interview
with copies of relevant documents as mentioned below.
7. The applicant must have valid Qatari Resident Permit for admission to be
finalised.
8. Selection will be automatically cancelled if fee is not paid on the last date
stipulated by the school and no reminders will be sent to parents in this
regard.
9. Parents are to ensure that all the documents required for registration are
obtained well in advance in order to avoid delay in admission. Submission
of incomplete forms will not be accepted and admission will be cancelled.
10. Request for transfer of section and choice of class teacher by parents will
not be entertained.
11. Parents are requested to adhere to the following age requirements as per
the CBSE rules.

Payment of fee for the month of July should be made along with June’s fee and
that of August should be made along with September’s fee, unlike the practice
followed in the previous years. All payment of fees should be cleared as per the
schedule given above or two days before the commencement of the Annual
Examination for the respective classes. However, students appearing for Class X and
XII CBSE Examination must clear their dues up to March of that year before collecting
their Hall Tickets.
SURCHARGE
A surcharge of Qrs. 25/ - shall be payable after the expiry of the due date. When the
delay of the payment exceeds two months, the student’s name will be removed
from the school rolls. Readmission will be made on payment of readmission fee and
the surcharge for the months of delay.
WITHDRAWALS
The parents, who desire to withdraw their wards from the school, should fill in
the application form for Transfer Certificate available in the office (Accounts

Section) and submit it along with Qrs. 150/- being the fee for Transfer
Certificate. The document will be available within 3 working days of the
submission of the application provided no dues of any kind are pending
against the student.
TRANSPORT
The School owns 38 air-conditioned buses and hires 57 others, which ply
between different areas and the school. The transportation fee is collected
along with the monthly tuition fees. Students who opt for this facility have to
avail it throughout the year. Bus Stops are fixed after thorough survey of the
situation and any future request for a change would be considered only on
valid grounds acceptable to the school. Transportation rules are given in the
diary.
N.B. Fees once paid will not be refunded. Bus Pass is to be produced
whenever demanded by the School authorities. In case the bus service is not
required, parents should inform transport department at least one month in
advance.
