Narrative Report on School Orientation on

DCP E- Package
“Computers cannot replace teachers, but teachers can be replaced

by those who can use computers.”

DepEd Computerization Program is Department of Education’s project

which aims to enhance teaching-learning process and meet the challenges

of the 21st Century with the use of technology.

Being one of the recipient schools of DCP batch 29 and 30 our school

conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on the proper way and

maximum utilization of the DCP E-Classroom Package.

The said SLAC also aims to raise the ICT literacy of the faculty members

of Prenza Elementary School.

The program started with an opening prayer led by Mrs. Maxima

Pagarigan, followed by the singing of the National anthem conducted by Mrs.

Juvilyn DG. Maximo. Teachers were energized during the roll call led by Mr.

Raymond P. Carretero and were truly inspired by the food for thought shared

by Ms. Rebecca V. Castro.

The opening remarks of Mr. Joie S. Germar marked the start of the

school seminar. Discussants were Mr. Rodolfo T. Gutierrez, Jr. and the

School ICT Coordinator Ms. Richelle V. Baleña.

Through this seminar, we have realized that indeed, learning is a

continuous process and everyone is not too young nor too old to learn and

apply technology in teaching.
