Study Basic Technical analysis

Notes:

1. Pagmaraming bumibili – pataas ang trend

2. Pagmaraming nagbebenta – pababa ang trend
3. 3% gain is good trade.
sila) Kaya ang strategy is BUY LOW , SELL HIGH
7. Support and Resistance – Dumidikit lang sa round numbers (1.00,1.10,1.20,1.50)

2. Basic Charting
a. Candle Sticks
b. Trend Lines
c. Support and Resistance
3. MOVING AVERAGES
MA20 (20days) – when crosses above MA50 = Buying Signal
MA50 (50days) – when MA20 crosses below = Selling Signal

4. RISK/REWARD RATIO: (ratio must less than 1.0% better .5 or below for profit potential)
EX: If a trader buys a stock at $25.60, places a stop loss at $25.50 and a profit target at $25.85,
then the risk on the trade is $0.10 ($25.60 - $25.50) and the profit potential is $0.25 ($25.85 -
$25.60).

The risk is then compared to the profit to create the ratio: risk/reward = $0.10 / $0.25 = 0.4

If the ratio is great than 1.0, that means the risk is greater than the profit potential on the trade.
If the ratio is less than 1.0, then the profit potential is greater than the risk.

5. Balancing Win Rate and Risk-Reward in Day Trading

Day traders must strike a balance between win rate and risk-reward. A high win rate means
nothing if the risk-reward is very high, and great risk-reward ratio may mean nothing if the win
rate is very low.

Consider these guidelines when you start coming up with a day trading strategy or are looking to
improve your day trading results:
A higher win rate means your risk-reward can be higher. You can still be profitable with a 60%
win rate and a risk reward of 1.0. You'll be more profitable with a 60% rate and a risk-reward
below 1.0.
A low win rate, 50% or below, requires winners to be larger than losers in order for you to be
profitable. You can still be profitable with a 40% win rate if risk/reward is below 0.6 (excluding
commissions). Ideally, if your win rate is below 50% strive for a risk/reward below 0.65, with the
risk-reward decreasing the more the win rate drops. The more you lose, the bigger your winners
must be when you do win.

- Mas maganda I take ang higher win rate / higher risk

(profitable at 60% rate risk-reward below 1.0)
(still profitable at 40% win rate and risk-reward of below 0.65)
6. Paano mamili ng maging stocks (Using investagrams) Filter 2-3 stocks only
Indicator Used (MA20, EMA13, MACD,+trend line) 3-4 indicator okey na kung nag dadalawang
isip sa stock)
- In Screener, Trend (Medium) Select “UPTREND”
- Pag Madaming uptrend stock, pwedeng I filter para mabawasan.
- Sa MA(20) , moving average about to across EMA 13 - below (pag nag cross doon bibili)
Checking:
1. Check if the selected stock is accurate result for uptrend
2. Check the MA20 and EMA13 kung pa cross na ang landas nila (bumili pag nag cross na)
3. Used MACD for highlight
4. Used trend line at sukatin ang volume (start in crossed area)

7. PAANO ANG SET-UP NG ISANG DAY TRADER

(Using Investagrams and COL Financial)
Indicators : MA20, EMA13, MACD,RSI, Stochastic)
1. In COL Financial Webpage (Select Quotes >Market Information > Most Active > Pick
one to check) or Most Gainer/Losser
2. In Investagrams (Set up indicators and Set up 1Minute Interval) means kada candle
stick is in 1minute .

Confirmation:
RSI at Stochastic: Halos pareho ang indication Pa gang signal nag overboard (pwede
nang bumili). RSI= Price Signal at Stochastic = Price direction.
3. Note:
Pag day trader, mas maganda mag monitor sa unang oras (opening)
Pag day trader, dapat mabilisan.
Save chart set-up

OlexOnze 5 Basic Chart Signal

1. Stochastic
2. RSI
3. MACD
4. Volume Oscillator (Supply Indicator)
5. Candle Sticks / Heikin Ashi

Stochastic – 0 – 20% (for DOWNTREND)

RSI (relative strength index)-(0-100)
70 value = overbought/overvalued > Corrective pullback, to the downside
(Selling Signal)

Note-
Pag lumagpas ng 70, doon nagkakaroon ng matinding pag taas (wag muna

Make 50 value as a support level. Pag tumagos sa -50 magbenta na

30% Below = oversold/undervalued > Corrective price reversal to the upsied (for
UPTREND)
(Buying signal) > buy at above 30 like 31
