Many students escape classes or even do not attend school because of gadgets.

Issue on the use of Motorcycles

Students getting absent just to go to different places (one cause of accidents).

Smoking, drinking, (illegal drugs)

Calimag and San Jose students are always getting late in coming to school.

Issue on hairstyle
Students retaliate when reprimanded because of wrong hairstyle.

Use of tattered jeans

Students who are dating in school

Parent: Suggests collection of all cellphones before getting inside the school
Barangay officials should also look after students roaming around during school
hours.

Parent: Teachers can write parents to inform them that their children are not
attending classes. We, parents, would appreciate it if we are informed of the behavior
of our children. Do not be scared to instill discipline in our children.

Ms. Julie: All teachers were instructed to call the attention of the parents of students
who are misbehaving in school. As teachers, we are trying our best to teach our
students and help them improve as this would also affect our performance as
employees. However, even if we do our best but the students are not doing their part,
we cannot do otherwise. If parents cannot control their children, how much more for
us, teachers. Parents should also really look after their children. Discipline should
really start at home. So, let us all work together for the good of our children.

7. Health concerns… Ms. Glory Pugong

Notification and consent related to the health services being provided by the
government through DOH and DepEd.
Some parents do not allow their children to avail of the health services of the school
because of fear brought about by the Dengvaxia case. They resist to maximize these
services even without fully understanding the essence of these opportunities.

General check up of students

Oral health examination
Mass drug administration… Purga, Iron supplements, Vitamins and minerals
(Ferrous Sulfate) to avoid anemia
Immunization
BCG for Tuberculosis
Measles
Tetanus
HPV

Nurse: Please support these services by allowing your children to avail of these.
Read notifications before deciding to sign or to disregard the consent.

Dengvaxia was not used in Ifugao because there was no case of mortality due to
dengue here in the province was reported in the recent year.

8. Mr. Jun Tangonan donated P1,000 and one load of gravel for the rehabilitation of the
gate

9. Election of officers
These should be done every two years during general assembly (as per CBL).
DepEd memo provides that PTA officers should come from the HPTA presidents.

Parents were asked to choose which of the two should be followed.

Election should be done in June. DepEd memo should be applied.

Officers should keep their positions for two years.
