Test Methodology:
Total selected point for image and quick scan

Image Scan: First the point of scanning was selected and a PSA 10 or PSA 11 reference grid was fixed
using an adhesive tape on the selected point. The Hilti PS S 200 Scanner was then set on the reference
point on the paper and moved through the surface pressing the start button. The full grid for both
direction of scanning was completed using the scanner. After completion, the scanning images was
transferred to the monitor and analyzed for the calculation of bar diameter and depth and documented
afterwards.
Quick scan: The columns positions were first selected and Hilti PS S 200 scanner was set on the
point. The desired direction with necessary depth was prior fixed from assigned menu. The scanner
was moved throughout the surface and when any bar found it beeps with necessary bar location in mm
units. The bars were marked alongside with the process using marking pens to locate the position of
the reinforcement and likewise the whole column was scanned and bar’s locations were determined.
The following points of the building were image scanned by HILTI PS - 200 Ferro-scanner.
