Male​ or ​Female​?

Introduction 
 
Voice  is  the  most  important  tool  of  organisms  to 
communicate  to  the  others.  Personally,  my  motivation  in 
choosing  this  data  is  from  my  personal  interest  in  about 
several  types  of  art  including  singing.  Voice  also  plays  a 
significant  role  in  this  activity.  Also,  I  have  been  once 
guessing  that  the  voice  that I have heard is voice of male or 
female  because  the  possibilities  are  quite  near  which  mean 
that  this  voice  can  belong  to  both  sexualities.  So,  it  just 
makes  me  questioned  myself  to  that  what  are  the  possible 
measurements  that  I  can  find  for  in  order  to  make  more 
accurate  guess.  When  I  firstly  saw  this  data,  I  immediately 
clicked  it  as  the  topic  is attracting me, but when I went into 
the  information,  I  was  shock  as  the  information  inside  the 
file  is  way  a  lot.  The  information  provided  in  the  document 
file  is  around  3,200  sample  datas  in  this  file.  That  is  the 
reason why we need to use AI to go through this data.  
Dataset 
 
I  got  this  data  from  kaggle.com  by  the  heading  of  this 
dataset  is  “Gender  Recognition  by  Voice”  posted  by  Kory 
Becker.  In  this  data,  Becker  includes  lots  of  properties,  21 
properties,  in  this  dataset  in  order  to  make  the  result 
becomes  as  much  accurate  as  possible,  such  as,  mean 
frequency  (in  kHz),  standard  deviation  of  frequency, median 
frequency  (in  kHz),  or  Q25:  first  quantile  (in  kHz).  In  this 
data,  I  only  needed  to  change  the result as it was in term of 
texts,  male  and  female.  After  I  changed  it,  the  result  that 
the  AI  should  give  back  to  us  is  in  term  of  0  and  1  which  0 
refers  to  Male  (Voice  of  Male)  and  1  refers  to Female (Voice 
of Female).

The Accuracy of AI 
 
According to the percents that I got from 5 trials, the 
accuracy of these trials are quite high around 0.98 and 
0.98. The result that I got is a little higher than my 
expectation as I looked at the data that I got which 
consisted of lots sample datas in each category.

Discussion 
 
★ My success in this project is that I can get the codes 
working and get quite high accurate percentages. 
★ My failure in this project is that I am not able to 
understand all the codes quite clear. 
★ The way that I can improve it is that I will try to study 
more about how these codes work again.
