AMERICAN FOOD

The gastronomy of the United States corresponds to a very varied mixture and
something of other gastronomies, this is so because it is a country created fundamentally
of immigrants coming from different countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, and other
countries. Native American cuisine could be called autochthonous and the rest is a fusion
of different culinary cultures taken to different extremes, on the one hand is fast food full
of attractive marketing, on the other hand is traditional food based on traditions livestock
of yesteryear, both cattle and sheep and goats.
In this final project we will present as a gift some delicious donuts, such as the traditional
burger, a delicious pancake dessert and the well-known coca cola drink.

Next we will present the ingredients and the preparation of each of the aforementioned
dishes.

DONUTS

Ingredients:

 1 kg of flour
 260 gr of sugar
 40 gr of fresh yeast
 80 gr of butter
 4 eggs
 Vanilla
 200 cc of milk

Preparation:

In a bowl with flour, dissolve the yeast in the center with the milk. Incorporate the rest
of the ingredients. Mix them until a smooth and elastic mass is obtained. Let the dough
rise to double its volume. Knead together with your hands. Degass the mass by tuning
with a 2 cm. Cut the dough with a round mold to shape the donuts. Let leudar 3/4 of its
volume in a tray. Now it's time to fry the donuts.
BURGER

Ingredients:

 500 grams of minced meat from a lean meat like loin ball
 500 grams of minced meat from a meat with more fat
 1 large white onion
 2 cloves of garlic
 Salt to taste
 Black pepper to taste

Preparation:
The preparation is quite simple: the first step is to chop the onion and garlic finely,
really small. Then, in a large bowl, mix the two types of meat, the chopped onion and
the garlic cloves chopped with your hands.

PANCAKE

Ingredients:

• Flour: 4 to 5 tablespoons
• Eggs: 2
• Milk: ¼ to ½ cup
• Melted butter: 2 tablespoons
• Salt: 1 pinch

Preparation:

I have all the ingredients at room temperature, it will be easier for you to prepare.
Beat in a bowl the eggs with the pinch of salt and add the flour until there are no lumps
and the dough is thick as a thick cream. Check if you need more or less flour than the
recipe says.
Add the milk little by little, while you are mixing, until it is a light preparation, but do not
run too much.
Sumale the melted butter, mix, cover the preparation and take it to the refrigerator to rest
for half an hour (the flour of the dough in the rest is hydrated, so if you have more thick
you can add a little more milk to run well ).
Once the half hour has passed, start cooking the pancakes. In a pan, better if it is specific
for pancakes - if not, the flattest you have and Teflon - brush with melted butter and pour
a bit of the pancake mixture (1 small ladle, approximately). Turn the pan, so the dough
reaches all edges; the pancake has to be finite, so keep in mind what the previous step
says.
Cook 1 minute or less on each side. Do not worry that the first pancake there is no way
to get it right: it always comes out a little ugly and in the third you're going to grab your
hand. The good thing is that the first and second always remain for the cook
Once all the pancakes are ready, I like to fill them in the form of a roll: I put 2 or 3 large
spoons of dulce de leche on one end of the pancake without reaching the edges
Arrange them in a baking dish slightly greased and sprinkle with sugar on top. Take them
to a very strong oven so that the sugar is gratified and then tell me all the applause you
take!

And it is accompanied by a rich coca cola.
