Twin 10-bbl (1.59 m3) capacity stainless steel sump-type
measuring tanks can be mounted on the same skid or placed
beside the skid when required. Fluid flows through stainless
steel, hard plumbed lines controlled by air-actuated butterfly

valves. The operator console is equipped with a Martin-
Decker pressure gauge, air manifold system, and Martin-
Decker 15,000-psi (1034 bar) single pin pressure recorder. It
will easily accept a UNIPRO II™ data acquisition computer
system. Depending on the power train and the pump plunger
size, the pump skids have a variable rate and pressure
capacity. Plungers are available from 6 in. for the high-rate/
low-pressure requirements to 3 3/8 in. for the low-rate/high-
pressure requirements.

CAT-3406 or GM-8V-71 engine, is radiator-cooled and has
an Allison HT-750 transmission. The HT-400 pump has an
8.6 to 1 ratio with hard-surfaced plungers, 3-in. (76.20 mm)
discharge flanges, and a 40-gal (151.4 L) fuel capacity. This
unit can be built to Lloyds or DNV specifications.

The unit requires an outside source for (1) compressed air for starting and auxiliary
functions, (2) fuel and (3) 24 VDC electrical supply as well as an external automatic remote
control (ARC) operator interface panel (OIP).

Single-Skid FracPac™ Blender The dry additive system consists of two Acrison dry-additive
feeders with a common discharge hopper with eductor mixer
This unit consists of a 25-bbl blender skid and an auxiliary

additive skid. The blender skid contains all the mixing and
pumping equipment. The additive skid contains all of the
storage and metering pumps/feeders for both liquid and dry
additives. The additive skid stacks on top of the blender skid
during operation. Both skid frames have the dimensions of
ISO freight containers. Consequently, shipping and handling
of the unit is easy and inexpensive. The skid frames also
provide considerable protection against handling damage.
Skids are not ISO-certified.

The basic configuration of the CLAM™ mixing skid consists of a 1.5-bbl polyethylene mixing tank, an automatic
mechanical tub leveling device, a manually operated calibrated sand gate (0 to 10.5-sacks/min), and an air-actuated tub
assist to adapt to changes in fluid density. The tub assist is controlled by a valve which is mounted on the skid.
Fluid is supplied to the CLAM mixing skid by any 18-bbl/min (2.9-m3/min) centrifugal pump. Jet action from the
recirculating fluid provides agitation in the tub. The output from the tub is 10-bbl/min (1.6-m3/min) with 8-bbl/min
(1.3-m3/min) recirculation rate.

The pumps are manifolded so that fluids can be drawn off SC-50™ Control Panel
either tank by either pump and discharged to either tank or
drawn from and pumped to an external location. Suction
lines have a 5-in. (127 mm) diameter, and the recirculating
lines have a 4-in. (102 mm) diameter.

available with twin 20-bbl (3.2 m³) vertical tanks. To extend
its capabilities and to lessen the equipment footprint on
location, the SMS-30 blender can be retrofitted with a Slurry Blender
CLAM™ blender on applications needing water pac services.
Displacement Tanks
A 20-bbl (3.2-m³) side-mounted displacement tank is
available for use with pump skids that do not have a built-in
displacement tank. The side-mounted, high-density,
crosslinked polyethylene or stainless steel 20-bbl (3.2-m³)
measuring tanks are sump-type with butterfly valve to
control fluid low.
