NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd November, 1989
S.O. 900(E).—The following bye-laws made by the Coir Board in exercise of the
powers conferred by .section 27 of the Cdir Industry Act, 1953 (45 of 1953), read with
bye-law 15 of the Coir Board (Transaction of Business, Conditions of Se vi« of
Employees and Maintenance of Accounts) Bye-laws, 1983 and confirmed by the Centrr 1
Government, are hereby published as required by sub-section[(2) of section 27 of the said
Act, namely
1. (1.) Tnese bye-laws may be called the Coir Board (Services) (Second Arrxne'ment)
BXe-laws, 1989.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Sch;dule to the Coir Board (Services) Bye-laws, 1983, against the post of Assis-
tant, for the en'ries under column 9, the following shall be substituted; ncm( ly
"50 % by p■mtnotion, and 50% by direct recruitment".
