PETITION

We the undersigned members of our School Community and various stakeholders (Board of
Trustees/Directors & Officers, Administrative Staff, Faculty, Students, Parents/Guardians, Alumni,
and School Friends and Supporters), after conducting the pertinent meetings and consultations,
and with reference to relevant researches, studies, laws and policies on Private Basic Education, do
hereby most respectfully petition President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the Honorable Members of our
Philippine Congress (the Senate and the House of Representatives), the Department of Education,
the Private Education Assistance Committee, and such pertinent entities/agencies, to take urgent
and sustained action on the NAPSPHIL BOT RESOLUTION NO-2016-2, entitled, “A RESOLUTION
RESPECTFULLY PETITIONING THE SENATE AND CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO
FORMULATE LEGISLATIVE MEASURES THAT SHALL ENSURE THE PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS
AND THE PROVISION OF ADEQUATE WELFARE AND BENEFITS TO THE PRIVATE BASIC
EDUCATION SCHOOLS AND THEIR SCHOOL COMMUNITY MEMBERS” (herewith attached as
ANNEX-A).
