PREFACE
NSTP is the subject teaches every student how to socialize, communicate and
defend their self in every situation. It is requires in every student in the level of 1st year
college to take up this subject wholeheartedly and seriousness. This documentation is a
compilation of projects, and reports done by the students who took up NSTP, particularly
the area of Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS).
This compilation inspires them as part of their lives because they deeply care
environment and knowing this using this documentation. And also these students exert
their effort to make the beautification of their project and time in order to make and
complete it.

INTRODUCTION
The National Training Service Program (NSTP) Republic Act 9163 is a program
aimed and enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth by
developing the ethics of service and patriotism.
NSTP is composed of three (3) components, namely: (ROTC) Reserved Officers
Training Corps, (CWTS) Civic Welfare Training Service, and (LTS) Literacy
Training Service.
ROTC (Reserved Officers Training Corps)
- Aimed to realize the constitutional man date of developing a strong
civilian base to supplement the professional military in the nation’s
defense system
- To train all able-bodied tertiary students for military skills in case of
war.
CWTS (Civic Welfare Training System)
- Contributory to the general welfare and the betterment of life for the
enhancement of each facilities especially those devoted to improve
health, education, environment, entrepreneurship, safety, recreation
and moral of the citizenry.
LTS (Literacy Training Service)
- A program designed to train student to teach literacy and numerical
skills to school children, out of school youth and other segment of
society in need of their service.
These are the components of National Training Service Program (NSTP) that
provides the students training and strengthening the values and traits of the youth, also

improving skills and knowledge on various endeavors, and making them responsible for
peace and development to ensure harmony and growth in the Filipino communities.

 PRUDENCE – the habit which enables man to direct his action to human life’s
goals of knowing the right things to do and apply it
 JUSTICE – the habit of giving each one of his due constant perpetual will give
stability which man needs to work without fear and anxiety in his search of
happiness
 FORTITUDE – the overcoming of the difficulties pressures of life in pursuit of
goals
 TEMPERANCE – the habit of bringing the desire and natural inclination of man
under the control of right reason.
 INDUSTRY – the habit of working hand and working under pressure.
 LOYALTY – the habit of remaining true to your friend and to your principles in
spite of difficulty
 RESPONSIBILITY – the habit of being accountable to one’s action, duties, and
obligation readiness to the consequences of our action.
 CHEERFULNESS – the habit of being optimistic, positive always seeing the
bring side of things.
 GENEROSITY – the habit of sharing the good that one’s actions, duties, and
obligations.
 MAGNANIMITY – the habit of having great ideal and ambitions of doing well;
being concerned with doing great deeds of service to others devoting his life to
serve his country of to help people.

Recovery of the youth’s sense of patriotism and national pride, values
and habits of discipline and hard work, integrity and accountability for nation
building, volunteer in the enhancement of valuable and effective members of
the National Service Corps of the Civic Welfare Training Service.
To conduct capability enhancement for civic welfare services geared
towards strengthening the values, and traits of the youth, develop social
entrepreneurs, volunteers, and socio-economic mobilizing force, serving
communities as value-driven innovators for progress and development while
working closely with a network of organizations within and outside the
higher education institution.

To promote and integrate values education; transformational

leadership; and sustainable social mobilization for youth
development, community building, national renewal, and global
solidarity
 To promote and protect the physical, mental, spiritual,

intellectual, and social well-being of the youth.
 To inculcate patriotism and nationalism in the youth.
 To encourage their involvement in public and civic affairs.
 To identify their role as change agents in the community.
 To prepare and implement projects that will answer specific
needs of the society.

Project Title: Cleanliness Campaign

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
1. To make the environment clean through the help of our team,
2. To improve the beautification of the surrounding in our department, and
3. To develop the cleanliness of the institution.
PLANNING STAGE
1. Meeting with the group members through the initiative of the team leader and
the help of the NSTP-Instructor Mrs. De Mesa about what will be done to the planned
project.
2. Visiting the area that locates to the group and see the transformation should be
done.
3. Project Proper
3.1 Removal of old plants that will no longer add to the beauty of the plot.
3.2 Cultivating the land and preparation for the plantation.

3.3 Planting new ornamental plants around the place.
3.4 Putting more plant pots on it.
MAJOR ACTIVITY AND PROJECT PROPER
CLEAN AND GREEN TEAM agreed upon on having their first project focusing
on the beautification of the AS building through removal of old plants and cultivating the
land for the new ornamental plants.
OUTCOME
In return to those efforts and tiredness, the said site transformed into beautiful
place. And this, the group said that the project was a success.
GENERALIZATION
The said project became successful just because of the cooperation and unity of
the group. The ambiance of the place or site became cool and relaxing place.
EVALUATION
The place became cleaner and more attractive. The place was no longer a mess it
has been cleaned and greens.

Project Duration: February 12, 14, 19 and 21, 2019

3. To develop the skills in planting
PLANNING STAGE
1. Meeting with the group through the initiative of Mrs. De mesa about the plants
they brought.
2. Re-visit the area to locate or to see what transformation should done.
3. Project Proper
3.1 Re-cultivate lands that the preparation of plantation.
3.2 Planting new ornamental plants in the assigning place.
3.3 Watering the plants every day.

focusing on the beautification of the AS building through planting a new ornamental
plants.

3. Project Proper
3.1 Digging around the metal at least half of a ruler.
3.2 Put the bricks around to make the its square shape.

3.3 Put the mix cement and sand into the middle of the square shape.
3.4 Flattened it using hands.
3.5 After that, ready the paint and the container to mix the green paint and
tinner.
3.6 After mixing, get the paint brush and start to paint.

on the beautification of the AS building through the painting of the metal board, and also
the re-build the foundation of it.
OUTCOME
The group members give their efforts and tiredness to finish the assign task. And
this, the group said that the project was a success.
GENERALIZATION

EVALUATION
The place became cleaner and more significant to the department. The place was
