Name of Programme/ Course: - M. Com


(A) Programme Mission & Objective
Mission and objective of proposed programme/course are as under:-
 To provide Higher Education to diverse section of society as an instruments
of democratizing Education
 To provide Education to such section of society, which are unable to get
education through face to face education
 To educate the society, which are deprived education due to crossing of
their age limit
 To increase the Gross Enrollment Ratio of State and inturn to Nation
 To provide the opportunity to employed person to increase their education
Qualification
 To provide education of person (Male & Female) working in their business,
Housewife or Agriculture
 To provide alternative Cost effective non formal Channel for tertiary
Education
(B) Relevance of the Program with HE’s Mission & Goal
Imparting Education in M. Com Course shall contribute in (a) Increasing GER of
State & India (B) Increasing Literacy percentage of State & India (C) Developing
Communication Skill of Society (D) To supplement the conventional University
system and to reduce the pressure on it
(C) Nature of prospective Target Group of Learner
The Prospective Target Group of Learner of Proposed Programme/ Course shall
be:-
 Low Income Group People residing in Rural & Urban areas
 Unskilled Men & Women specially in rural areas
 Rural people involve in their business or Agriculture field work
 Low paid employee for increasing their Education Qualification for their
better prospect
 House working woman and Men deprived Education in early age& now
crossed the age Limit
(D) Appropriateness of programme to be conducted in Open and Distance
Learning mode to acquire specific skills and competence
The Duration of M.Com courses shall be of 2 Years. The course is on Annual
system, thus there shall be Two Annual Exam. The University have continuous
system on assessment & evaluation of measurement of learning outcomes by
students. The Learning is assessed by blend of quizzes , assignment, Exercise
analysis, report submission and Semester Examination.

 Selection of students on the basis of marks obtained in Graduation which is
Qualifying Qualification of Course
 The fees charges shall be Rs. 8000 year +Examination fees
 The Fees charges include all the reading material & all other expenditure of
the University
 The Financial Assistance upto 20% of fees shall be available for widow
woman
 Academic activity includes

(b) Distribution of Curriculum
(c) Distribution of Registration No., Course Material
(d) Date wise Lesson plan of Course
(e) Details of Examination schedule Quiz, Sessional, Project Submission &

(i) With Registration No., Students can see the Examination schedule, Filling
of Examination form Payment of Fees, Declaration of result, Print of
Mark sheet, and other Academic activity from ERP of University
(G) Requirement of the Laboratory support & Library Resources
For M. Com No Laboratory support is required However the University have 548
books for Courses of commerce Dept. (B. Com, M. Com and B. Com (Computer))
(H) Cost estimate of the programme and the provision
The Cost estimate for M. Com Course on No Profit No Loss comes to Rs. 8000/-
year. The University has made provision of Rs. 10 Lakh for running of different
course of commerce Dept. (B. Com , B. Com (Computer) & M. Com ) including
the Printing of Teaching Material
(I) Quality assurance Mechanism & Expected Programme out comes
 The University have designed Quality assurance Mechanism for all the course
which are as under:-
o Day to day lesson plan of each Course on the day registration
o Distribution of Printing Material of Course on the day of Registration
of students
o Regular Monitoring of students by faculty members on Phone/Video
Calling
o Fixing the date of Examination Schedule, Quiz, and Annual
Examination
o Calling the Students in University Campus for Face to face Interaction,
specially when seminar/ conference organization related to their
subject
o Deputing concern faculty to divisional place and calling all the students
of concern subject for face to face interaction, conduction of classes,
midterm review, solving the queries of students
