 Math: We will continue working in addition and subtraction. We will work  Tuesday, April 9th : Tutoring
on counting by 1s and skip counting by 2s, 5s and 10s. Number names and group 1
the counting sequence. We will continue describing and comparing  Thursday, April 11th : Tutoring
measurable attributes. group 2.
 Language: We will continue working on building stamina through our  Friday, April 12th : Spelling test
daily 5 routines. We will be working on listening comprehension and sight words, beginning, middle
finding major points in a text. We will keep on working on identifying and ending sounds.

Ff, Bb, Ii, Gg, Dd). We will work on add or substitute individual sounds
(phonemes) in three phoneme words. We will be working on narrative
writing and reading skills. We will also be introducing letter “X,x and J,j”.
We will be working on rhyming words. Finally, we will be making a writing
sample for observing each students writing progress independently.
 Unit of Inquiry: We will continue working in our unit “A living kingdom”.
We will be talking about different animal cycles and patterns of growth.
We will be observing how our plants are changing and growing. We will be
recording this information in our journals.
Homework routine:
 Monday: IXL F.1 and Q.2 for 20 minutes.
 Tuesday: Literacy, tic tac toe notebook.
 Wednesday: Literacy, reading log.
 Thursday: UOI, Parts of A Plant worksheet.
 Friday: Bring sight words and homework routine.
