II. FUNDAMENTATION

English learning is considered an important tool in the professional


formation for our students of different careers
This course will help them know, understand, and express their
opinions, feelings, ideas, etc in different situations.

It develops skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing and


also contributes to the integral development of future professionals.

III. COMPETENCE

The students will understand and produce oral and written messages
combining linguistic and extra-linguistics resources, applying second
language learning strategies, and showing students’ receptiveness
and interest.

Applying communicative approaches, audio-lingual methods, etc.

VII. EVALUATION

6.1.1 Criteria

6.1.2 Passing conditions


 Minimum grade to pass is 13
 The student must follow the assignments’ schedule (date and
time). The assignments won’t be accepted after the established
time.
 The minimum acceptable attendance is 30%. If the student
misses 4 lessons (as maximum) automatically, he will not be
promoted
 There is NO TOLERANCE for coming into the classroom once
the class have started.

 The student must be officially registered as a student of the


course before taking any exam.

Final Grade: [(R+L+S+W+CP+( E*2) /7

Where:

R = Reading
L = Listening
S = Speaking
W =Writing
CP = Class Participation
E = Exam = (ME = Midterm Exam +FE= Final Exam)/2
