Harry Potter Book Night is a celebration that was started by Bloomsbury in 2015 to share and enjoy
the Harry Potter stories.
The third annual Harry Potter Book Night will take place on 2nd February 2017, when once again,
fans of all ages will have the chance to celebrate J.K. Rowling’s wonderful stories – and pass the
magic on to readers who haven’t yet discovered these unforgettable books.
To tie into the theme of the 2017 Harry Potter Book Night, the Professors of Hogwarts, we have put
together a quiz for you to post on Twitter, to join in on all the activity. This quiz should be posted on
the 2nd February 2017.
We have selected 12 questions relating to Hogwarts professors. The questions and answers come
from either the Harry Potter books 1-7 or from one of the extracts in the Pottermore Presents
collection.
Below is a list of questions and answers, as well as some suggested copy to accompany the quiz
cards. We have also put together a step-by-step guide to try and make this activity as easy as
possible.
Step 1:
We suggest that you host your quiz on Twitter, posting one question every 5 minutes for 1 hour.

are 13 ‘quiz cards’ in total. One introductory asset and 12 question
cards.
