Definition of SPs

The SP 1-120 is by default, defined in the SCCP network as not concerned and as
policing not required for the messages coming from this SP. SCCP network
management messages related to any subsystem are not broadcast to the
specified SP. MSG value is 0 by default, and then the SP 1-120 is able to process
Unitdata (UDT) and Unitdata Service (UDTS) messages only. MTC value is 0 by
default, so no change is allowed in the relayed messages towards SP 1-120.

The SPs 0-125 and 2-200 are defined in the SCCP network as concerned
and as policing required. SCCP management messages related to
any subsystem are broadcast to the specified SPs. Messages coming
from these SPs require to be policed. The SPs 0-125 and 2-200 are
able to process UDT and UDTS messages only. MTC value is 0 by
default, so no change is allowed in the relayed messages towards
SPs 0-125 and 2-200.

The SPs 2-122 through 2-124 are defined in the SCCP network as not
concerned and as policing not required. SCCP management
messages related to any subsystem are not broadcast to the
specified SPs. Messages coming from these SPs do not require
policing. MSG value is 0 by default, and then, the SPs 2-122 through
2-124 are able to process UDT and UDTS messages only. Change
from Extended Unitdata (XUDT) or Extended Unitdata (XUDTS) to
UDT or UDTS is allowed in the relayed messages towards SPs 2-122
through 2-124.

The SPs 1-98 through 1-100 are defined in the SCCP network as concerned and
as policing not required. SCCP management messages related to any subsystem
are broadcast to the specified SPs. Messages coming from these SPs do not
require to be policed. The SPs 1-98 through 1-100 are able to process UDT,
UDTS, XUDT, and XUDTS messages. Change from UDT or UDTS to XUDT or
XUDTS is allowed in the relayed messages towards SPs 1-98 through 1-100.
C7NPI:SP=1-98&&-100,CON,MSG=1,MTC=1,NPOL;

The message capabilities of the SP 1-124 are changed. The SP 1-124 is able to
process UDT, UDTS, XUDT, XUDTS, LUDT, and LUDTS messages. Change from
UDT or UDTS to XUDT or XUDTS, or from LUDT or LUDTS to XUDT or XUDTS is
allowed in the relayed messages towards SP 1-124.
C7NPC:SP=1-124,MSG=2,MTC=1;

The block handles both non-segmented messages, such as Unitdata (UDT) and Unitdata Service
(UDTS), and segmented (or large) messages, such as Extended Unitdata (XUDT) and Extended
Unitdata Service (XUDTS).
