During my BTech i developed a special interest in

Analog Circuits domain .Opamp circuitry was specially

very interesting for me as it had so many practical
application in real life . My Btech project was also
based on one of the application of Opamps (OPAMP
BASED ECG). At the same time i also realized that my
knowledge in this domain is so limited that to perform
enough practical utility i need to go for specialized
knowledge.
Not only electronics but i also want to acquire
knowledge in the field of VLSI as VLSI circuits
are used everywhere, real applications include
microprocessors in a personal computer or
workstation, chips in a graphic card, digital camera or
camcorder, chips in a cell phone or a portable
computing device, and embedded processors in an
automobile .Going for Research in
MICROELECTRONICS AND VLSI field of IIT KANPUR
would provide me the specialized knowledge that i
require in order to make my career in this domain.
Hence i would like to pursue my Masters in this
domain.
