On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is indeed a great honour and privilege for
us to invite you to “The 12th Liver Update and The Annual Scientific Meeting of Ina
ASL/PPHI 2019” which to be held from 21st – 23rd March 2019 in Ritz Carlton-Mega
Kuningan-South Jakarta, Indonesia. The theme is Comprehensive Management in
Hepatobiliary Disorders & Related Disease.

The symposium is organized by Division of Hepatobiliary, Department of Internal

Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia/Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo
National General Hospital and Indonesian Association for the Study of the Liver
(Ina ASL).

Liver Update is organized annually has allows us in digesting and harvesting the
practical knowledge we need to know and practice and also allow us to keep our
mind open for the new development in Hepatopancreatobiliary medicine and
surgery. Please mark your calendar on 21st - 23rd March 2019 and kindly prepare the
abstract of your research to be presented in this important meeting.

Our sincerest appreciaton for the international and national faculty who contributed

PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
LANGUANGE
All abstracts should be submitted in English (including the title, abstract text, author’s
names affiliations).

CORRESPONDENCE
Please provide the followings:
Presenting author’s contract details; including full mailing address, office hours
phone number, email address and fax number. Name(s) of presenting author and
co-authors: first name(s) or initials of first name(s), family name (e.g. Ali Sulaiman or A.
Sulaiman). Affiliation details of all authors: department; institution/hospital; city; state
(if relevant); country.

STRUCTURE
The abstract title should be in initial capital/ lower case (not all capitals). Abstracts
for original articles should include 1) background/aims, 2) methods, 3) results and 4)
conclusions. For case reports, abstracts should include introduction and case
description/ Word limit: 250 words including acknowledgement. Do not include
references in the abstract. Do not include key words in the abstract. Abbreviation
should be spelled out, in parentheses, with its first use in the text.

FORMAT
All abstracts submitted will be automatically edited according to The 12th Liver
Update & The Scientific Meeting of Ina ASL/ PPHI 2019 submission format. It is the
responsibility of the authors to review the submission and avoid any typing errors on
the abstract. Use Italics only when appropriate (e.g., for the name of genus and
species). To avoid character corruption, please use only Times New Roman or
Symbol font.
POSTER PRESENTATION
GUIDELINES
Presenters are required to stand next to their posters
during the designated lunch-time as well as during the morning
and afternoon coffee breaks, for informal discussions,
on the scheduled date indicated in the notification email.

Authors will be able to keep their poster by removing it

from the poster board between 18:00 and 19:00
on the day when the poster is displayed.

1. A panel width 80cm(W) x 120cm(H) will be provided

for each poster as following example.
2. Presentation number will be prepared by secretariat.
3. Title and present author’s name are required
to prepare by each presenter.
4. Pins for display will be provided at each poster panel
5. Poster Reception Desk will be located at the Poster Area.
6. Please come to the Poster Reception Desk
to check in before you can put up your Poster.

ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

SPEAKER READY ROOM
Your slides for presentation MUST upload to the system at the Slide Counter/ Speaker Ready
Room AT LEAST 2 HOURS before your presentation. USB Flash Drive or Personal Computer is
NOT allowed to connect to the system for presentation directly in the meeting room.

AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT (standard equipment)

All the PC computers in the Speaker Ready Room are being supplied with

• Operating System: Windows 7/10 (PowerPoint: 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013).
• CD-R, CDRW or USB Flash drive are the media being supported.

For Macintosh users please immediately check your presentation in the Speaker Ready
Room as soon as you arrive to make sure all fonts and video clips are present in the form they
were created. Don’t forget to bring your own cable connector (if you want to use your own
macbook to the projector). The projector’s screen resolution is set at 4:3 XGA. Please make
your PPT data the necessary preparation if needed. (16:9 XGA is also projectable with a size
smaller, black flamed at the top and bottom).
 EXHIBITION

There will be an exhibition in conjunction with the Symposium. The exhibition will exhibit the latest
technology of pharmacy, diagnostic and therapeutic product in Hepatopancreatobiliary Diseases.

● Cancellations received before or on 31 January 2019 – an administrative fee
of IDR 1.000.000 will be applied.
● Cancellations received on or after 28 February 2019 – NO REFUND.
