Narrative Report on Teacher`s Day

2018-2019

Teachers have always been regarded as the noblest profession. With teachers,
professions become professions. Teachers are considered brains behind the people who
become experts or achieved a great deal. Teachers are the light of every person’s brain,
the heart of a single soul, the pillars of those who do not have guts, the voices that keep
on saying, “You can do it!”

All across the world, Teacher’s Day celebrates are undertaken to honor teachers for
their sincere efforts to impart knowledge to their students. By having celebrations on
Teacher’s Day, we convey the message that we care for our teachers, just as they do.
Teacher’s Day is the right time for the students to express their feelings of thankfulness
and gratitude towards the teachers.

On the 5th day of October 2018, the students of Poonapiagapo Central School
together with the Grade 7 headed by the Grade 7 selected students and other Grade
levels serenaded us at exactly 8 o’clock in the morning exerting efforts of gathering,
preparing their piece, flowers, cards and not only that, they also offered us a song
dedicated to all the teachers of this school as ways of celebrating Teacher’s Day.

At exactly 8 o’clock in the morning, the students prepared a program to honor the
teachers and to show their sincere gratitude and thanking them for being the guiding light
in their lives in one way or another, the students arranged a number of interesting
activities like singing and giving of flowers and cards to their respected advisers and their
subject teachers on the day. The students also prepared some games to play by the
teachers like Pinoy Henyo, etc. Students gave recognition to the teacher’s hard work,
even if it is simple celebration, they reflect the fact that they care their teachers.

Teachers play a very important role in making the world a better place to live
in. They not only educate students, but also help turn them into responsible adults.

To end the day right, the teachers gathered in the Principal`s Office to have a small
“salo-salo”. They send their hopes, dreams and wishes for the teachers as well as their
pupils. Everyone had high spirits and was very delighted to become part of the
celebration.
