proceedings; several patents and NASA recognition for exceptional power system design for UAR satellite.
Nominated by NASA for IR-100 award for developing one of the 100 top technological products in 1987.
Associate Editor of Solar Energy, journal of the International Solar Energy Society (Elsevier Science
Publishers, UK), Review Renewable Energy Research Grant Proposals for the State of California.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: Designed, developed and tested complete power and distribution systems,
power electronics, magnetics (high voltage, high power, high frequency), wind and spacecraft power
systems, solar arrays, batteries, generators, motors, renewable power systems, advanced energy storage,
design optimization for minimum cost and/or weight, modeling and simulation, performance analyses
(capability, stability, worst case, switching, transients, protection, ripples, power quality, etc), energy
balance analysis, thermal cooling design, reliability and availability estimates, design reviews, teaching.

Wind and Spacecraft power systems, Ocean wave energy cropping, Electromagnetic wave propagation in
advance submarine power system, Flywheel energy storage with magnetic bearings. Taught renewable (PV and
wind) power technologies as the 3M Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
Teach continuing education courses to professionals.

defense programs using solar arrays, rotating machines, batteries, superconducting magnets, power electronics
