SUBJECT : Action Plan re Manila Bay Rehabilitation Project

1. References:
a. Memorandum from RD, PRO CALABARZON dated February 4, 2019 with
same subject as above;
b. Memorandum from TDO dated February 4, 2019 with same subject as
above; and
c. PRO4A IMPLAN 01/2019 (Manila Bay and Laguna De Bay Rehabilitation
Project.

2. The pertains to the Presidential Directive to rehabilitate Manila Bay and the
involvement of this PRO in assisting lead government agencies in the enforcement of
environmental laws and ordinances to ensure the success of the effort in reviving the
heavily polluted Manila Bay.

3. In connection with the above references please be informed that this station
conducted coordination and dialogue with Mrs. Erlinda Creencia, Head of City
Environmental and Natural Resources pertaining with Rehabilitation Project dated
February 4, 2019. As per CENRO they will start the said rehabilitation program on
March 2019 and will copy furnish this office on the plans and programs of the said
office.

 ACTION PLAN re REHABILITATION OF MANILA BAY AND LAGUNA DE BAY

General Objective:

To assist in the enforcement of environmental protection laws to preserve, protect and enhance our environment
such as territorial waters, lakes, and rivers leading into the Manila Bay.

Specific Objective:

To provide the necessary assistance to the City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO) and other concerned
government agencies in the conduct of an all-out and sustained campaign to protect and preserve our environment through the
creation of REHABILITATION OF MANILA BAY AND LAGUNA DE BAY
